On November 26, 2008 Bharat Been Attacked By Pakistanis Made A History Of Highest Scale Terrorism In Bharat History So Far Asking Bharatwasis Intensive Thinking For The Future Of Bharat. Time Has Been Compelled By The Invasion To Decide Future Action Course. No Citizen Of Bharat Has Got Tolerance Anymore.

By the war level terrorist attack in Mumbai has confirmed that the terrorism got no limits. Bharat has very well promoted the terrorism in the nation since there had been no control. The people of Bharat should not see the faces of the politicians for the purpose of eliminating the future terrorist activities but have to find a way out of the issue. The people of Bharat shall remain projected to continuous further attacks while the police & the army personnel continue to sacrifice for the sake of the nation as has been experienced during the 50 hours encountering experience in Mumbai.

Man Mohan government had been dealing with intensive stress to make the Hindus organizations as involved alleged terrorism centres while Pakistan had been busy in scheming the terrorist war level attacks on Bharat India from its soil. No minister or even the intelligence knew about the possible attacks & there is no meaning in criticizing those organizations. The government had been prejudices with the real culprits. The Hindus organizations have been projected by the government as the real terrorists in the hypothetical considerations. The people cannot ask the ministry about its responsibility as there is no ministry for terrorism. The people have to find a way out soon should they intend to live peacefully in Bharat.

The government is not going to touch the Muslims as well as the foreign Muslims for the accusations of the terrorist activities. The people shall be kept on the horns of terrorism killings. There shall be no security for the common people for even the five stars hotels could not be kept safe. The government could not receive any intelligence. The coast guard could not keep an eye in the unauthorized navigational activity. The whole statutory machinery yielded for no control. The people all over are shocked & scared. We can only debate & write but the action is the need of the hour.

The top cops as well as the army officials sacrificed their lives for the sake of the nation. We the people of Bharat salute all those hero of the Bharat soil. We are proud that Bharat has the people who think & care for the nation. The only problem left is with the politicians or the people who never think for the nation. There can be no worded expressions for the hero & the encountering process. The terrorism has been defeated during the Mumbai encountering but it is not the real answer. Why has this attack been allowed in the first place?

Where are those intelligence organizations? Where is the responsible minister as well as the responsible PM? Where are the actions that the government in the office was supposed to take? The government always blames that NDA had surrendered before the terrorists. It is agreed. But what the government has to tell now when the groups of the dreaded highly trained terrorists well equipped with the advanced weapons entered the land & resided there for days & months? The government had been too considered with the Sadhvi type accused terrorists while the real terrorists were condoned. We honour the loss of life of the ATS as well as police. We are indebted to those brave citizens as well as public guards. But what are about the responsibilities of the government?

Why should the police or the security commandos be ever involved with the terrorism? Why the PM did discard at the first place about the constitution of a central agency to suppress the terrorism? Why did PM always remain reluctant to constitute a practical national law for the suppression of the national as well as international terror? Why did the PM condone the procedure adopted by the US when they were explained during their visit in US? The PM has met many failures during his term & he is accountable to the people of Bharat. The people needs a honest PM but the capability to act at the right time is also required that has been proved ineffective during his regime.

Just requiring the ISI chief is not adequate. The people of Bharat demand the PM to resort immediately to all measures in consultation with the people of Bharat as well as the political parties. The people do not feel safe that grants the people of Bharat all fundamental rights for self defense. The government least bothers about the security of the people. The people of Bharat have been boiling & it is sure that the uprising is not distant. The appeal by the PM to keep silent or remain with peace shall not work. The PM has to take urgent actions to keep the terrorists scared. All necessary executions to the prisoners involved with the terrorism must be ordered. Exclusive terrorism related cases must be carried out with much higher disposal speeds. The POTA like strong laws must be enacted should the PM intends to help the people of Bharat. There should be no consideration of any religion whether it be Muslim or it be Hindu. In case of evidence admissible by the court of law, the actions must be taken fast. All senseless vested politics must leave the nation as far as the terrorism is concerned.

The people cannot wait for longer. No more Mumbai like attacks are to be seen. The bases of the terrorists have to be fired. Intensive arrangements must immediately be made to throw out the Bangla Desh sleepers & all intruding illegal Pakistanis must be thrown out of the Bharat land. If the PM does not act now, the history shall remember him as the lowest evaluated PM who did not help the people come out of the evil of the terror. The people of Bharat respect the PM but the PM does not respect the people of Bharat. It is really too bad a situation.

No need of loosing sleep

Some time ago when terrorist were arrested, then Man Mohan Sing lost sleep. But due to terrorist activities in Mumbai, there is no need of losing sleep, as this time make arrest of any other Sadvi and some military officers and blame them for Mumbai blasts and start narcotic tests on them. Keep doing the narcotic tests again and again and keep torturing the suspected Hindus till the federal parliamentary elections are over or till next terrorist activities and bomb blasts occur some where in Bhaarat. In the mean time Hindus should be extolled as usual to keep calm and maintain harmony among various communities as Hindus are very, very tolerant and have no value of life. Even some politicians have advised Hindus in the past be prepared to die for fulfilling the demands of other religions..
Hindus are in a very bad position for the last 1000 years. First due to slavery. Even after independence by manipulation, power went into the hands of such people who are anti Hindu, pro-minorities. Muslims, Christians, ,communists, secular, pseudo-secular were managing to stay in power. All the media of Bhaarat is ant-Hindu. The media helped the anti-Hindu people to stay in power all the time.
After independence Hindi was declared as national language. But no prime minster and other leaders speak in Hindi. All leaders either speak in English or Urdu. Media, commercial people have not been forced to use pure Hindi at every stage. Hindi should have been made visible all around all the time. No government has promoted Hindi, Sanskrit and other Bhaaratiya languages.
Anti- Hindu media want English therefore most politicians use English and ignore Hindi. Not even many Hindi and Sanskrit universities been established in Bhaarat.
English is a symbol of slavery which has been forced on all the children of Bhaarat.
Bhaaratiya people want to stay slave for ever there fore foreigners are given prominent positions in running the Bhaarat nation.

Hemant Karkare was killed. There are parallels with Batla House, except that he was wearing a bullet-proof vest and Sharma wasn't.
So, just as Muslims (with Congress Party and other "secular" encouragement) are insisting Batla House was faked by the police, and the police killed Sharma, so shd Hindus now state that the ATS staged Taj and killed Karkare (because his Malegaon persecution of Hindus was backfiring politically on the Congress?)?

What's sauce for the goose.........

'Deccan Mujahideen' claims responsibility
Press Trust of India
Thursday, November 27, 2008, (Mumbai)
Even as a little-known Deccan Mujahideen group claimed responsibility for the coordinated terror strikes in Mumbai on Wednesday night, the identity and nature of the attack has left security agencies baffled.

In the camera shots of a suspected terrorist involved in the gruesome shootout ever to be undertaken by terrorists, the AK-47 wielding youth comes across as an average youngster.

Dressed in a black half T-shirt and jeans with a blue rucksack hung over his left shoulder and red sacred thread tied on his right wrist, one might just mistake him to be just another regular college going student.

What baffles the security agencies is the sacred thread tied on his wrist which many say could be a plot to show that the attack was undertaken by probably an extreme Hindu group.

But, the claim by a terror organisation with a Muslim name has left the above theory in question, say experts.

New Delhi : The Pune cyber cell officer on Tuesdayreceived a call from an unknown caller who issued death threat to Mumbai's Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) chiefHemant Karkare, TV channels reported.

Meanwhile, the NHRC has sought a report from the Maharashtra Government on alleged custodial torture of Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, who was arrested in connection with Malegaon blast.
The Commission sent notice to Maharashtra Chief Secretary Johny Joseph and Director General of Police A N Roy on Monday following a complaint about the alleged violation of human rights during the ATS custody of the accused and directed them to submit a factual report on it.
The Commission asked the officials to submit the report within two weeks, NHRC sources said.
38-year-old former ABVP activist Pragya was arrested by the Maharashtra ATS on October 23 for allegedly conspiring of exploding a bomb at Malegaon on September 29 in which six persons were killed and 101 others injured.

Thakur on Monday told Special MCOCA Judge Y D Shinde that she had been mentally and physically harassed by ATS.
"ATS officials threatened to strip me and hang me upside down if I did not confess about my involvement in the blast. I am mentally disturbed and not able to eat anything," Sadhvi told the judge.
Petition against ATS for picking a person illegally from MP
Indore, November 25, A habeas corpus petition has been filed in Madhya Pradesh High Court here alleging that the Maharashtra Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS) illegally picked up a person in the second week of this month from the city. Advocate of Ramswaroop, Dipak Rawal said that Dilip was an electrician and his family members were anxious with his missing and had even tried to lodge complaint with the local Kajrana police station.
Ramswaroop said that he had come to know from the police station that Mumbai ATS has taken away Dilip.

Pune JCP confirms threat to blow up ATS chief's house
An anonymous caller, who used a PCO to contact Pune police, threatened to blow up the residence of Mumbai Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) Chief Hemant Karkare "within a couple of days", a top official confirmed on Wednesday.
The caller who spoke a few lines in Marathi on November 24 evening cut the line after giving the threat, Rajendra Sonavane, Joint Commissioner of Police (JCP), told PTI.
The call was later traced to a Public booth in Sahkar Nagar area of the city, he added.
Asked whether it was being seen as a 'hoax', Sonavane said police were taking all such threats seriously in the present scenario and the Mumbai ATS had been informed duly about the threat call.
However, the police control room, when contacted on Tuesday night, had denied receiving any such threat to Karkare.

Subject: [BEF] Re: From Washington DC-- Mumbai terror attacks

ATS chief Hemant Karkare was killed in the encounter. I see him as a victim of Sonia-UPA venality, of their Jihadi-appeasement policy. Instead of letting him pursue real terrorists, they forced him to manufacture non-existent 'Hindu terrorists' and the army. This has severely demoralized the security forces at all levels.
I have consistently held that sonia has a single point agenda- to protect herself and her family from terrorist threats. This is why Afzal Guru has been let off and the bogey of Hindu terrorism has been created. But no Indian media or politician is willing say this openly though they admit it in private.

The real problem is the undermining of the Indian security forces by Sonia Gandhi who is scared that the Jihadi outfits might target her and her family. So she is appeasing the Islamist forces even to the point of holding back the security forces from taking tought action against the Jihadi outfits. In plain language, she is placing her personal security ahead of national security. You know the rest- the Jihadis have a free hand. She and her entourage have created a bogey called 'Hindu terrorism,' and launched a witch hunt.
Islamists have found Sonia Gandhi a convenient target for blackmail. It would not be surprising if intelligence data is ending up in their hands.
So, instead of pursuing real terrorists, the security forces like the Mumbai Anti-terror Task force wasting time pursuing non-existent threats. Its chief Hemant Karkare was killed in the attacks.
Thank you for your interest: the message is that Sonia's Jihadi appeasement policy has made it all but impossible to fight terrorism. I had raised it in the two-part "Sonia Gandhi's reluctant war on terror" written for The American Thinker in 2005, but did not anticipate the magnitude of the disaster.
Best regards,
NS Rajaram

Hindusthan should now enter the war on islamist jehadi terror, take over PoK, help US get rid of the Taliban in Afghanistan and the islamist terrorists in Pakistan.

Any other focus and diversionary tactics will boomerang on 10 Janpath chamchas.

I will leave it to the security experts and terror pundits to fill in the blanks as the operation continues in Nariman House with all 5 floors occupied by Jews.

Colaba has many Parsis and rich people

Hemant Karkare tried to chase the terrorists from Azad Maidan Police Station towards Cama Hospitel and was shot down by the terrorists. ATS chief gunned down by terrorists together with at least 4 other police personnel.

Manmohan, tell us the truth; who is in charge of anti-terror operations in Hindusthan?

When Hindusthan joins the world war on terror, the world shall be rid of islamist jehadi terrorism. Obama should surely become aware of this. Hindusthan, seize the moment. Joint steadfastly to root out terror from the face of the globe.

Those who made / built great temples in the vedic land were not fools.
Attaining god thru worship of god in muurtis is also a vedic process.
Mira, Chaitanya, Ramanuj, Madhva, Vallabha, Nimbarka, etc did worship god muurtis.
Sure it is not suitble for advaitis. However, it has achieved results for the dwaities and many bhaktas. So, no need to debate about the matter.

The need for all the Vedics is to unite at this time.

sayings of various texts and great men on idolatry.

Here we give a few quotations from scriptures and other writings:-

(1) Of him there is no image, whose glory is indeed great (Yajur
Veda 32/3)

(2) He is not to be grasped either from above or across or in the
middle. Of him there is no image, whose glory is indeed great
(Svetasvatara Upanishad 4/16)

(3)God is without figure, epithet, definition or description. He is
without defect, not liable to annihilation, change, pain or birth;
we can only say that he, who is the eternal being, is god. The
vulgar look for their gods in water; men of more extended knowledge
in celestial bodies; the ignorant in wood, brocks and stones but
learned -men in the universal soul (Vishnu Purana 2/14/29)

(4) He who views as the soul this body formed of phlegm, wind and
bile, or regards only wife, children and relations as himself i.e.
he who neglects to contemplate the nature of the soul, he who
attributes a divine nature to earthen images, and believes in the
holiness of water, yet pays such respect to those who are endowed
with a knowledge of god, is an ass amongst cows. (Bhagwat Purana
10/84/13)

(5)The fool looks upon clayey, stony, metallic or wooden images as
god and they never attain bliss- Mahabharata

(6) Thou dost not see god in the house, though tho art hanging a
stone in the neck-Guru Nanak

(7) The fool worships a stone; who can save him who is determined to
be drowned-Guru Nanak

(8) one man bows his head before a stone, another hangs it in his
neck, one bows towards the east and another towards the west, why
dos he worship these and why does he go to the stone; the whole
world is mad; it can not know the secret of god- Guru Nanak

(9) Whoever looks upon a stone as god, wastes his service- Kabira

(10) The image was made by putting the foot on the stone, had the
image been real, it should have devoured the maker- Kabira

(11) If stone worship can lead to the attainment of god, I am ready
to worship a mountain. A millstone is better than this idol as it
enables the world to grind corn- Kabira

(12) You drink the water after washing the stone; you worship the
stone as a living thing. You are engrossed in ignorance and you will
become a stone in the end- Dadu

(13) What meaning is there in calling one that is all pervading, or
offering seat to one that is the support of all? What sense is there
in offering water for washing feet, hands or mouth to him who is
pure? What sense is there in offering scents or flower to one that
needs no smelling? What sense is there in offering dress or
ornaments to him who has no body? What is the need of offering food
to one that is ever satiated or betel leaf to one that is
everywhere? How can you bid farewell to one that is within all and
without all! Why offer incense to one that is formless, or lamp to
one that sees all? To him who is ever satisfied with his own nature
there is no need of librations. a betel leaf is useless for one that
is full of all bliss. No lamps are necessary for one that is the
illuminator of the sun etc. it is impossible to perambulate one that
is infinite, or to weigh one that has nobody. it is impossible to
send sway him who is within all and without all- quoted from the
works of Sri Shankaracharya vol. 18 vani vilas press, Shri Rangam p-
107-108

(14) The inanimate can never give any fruit whatsoever. Therefore
nobody should ever worship an inanimate object, nor should anybody
expect good fruit from a false or improper worship. - Madhvachararya
in his commentary of Chhandogaya Upanishad 7/14

(15) Many learned Brahmins are perfectly aware of the absurdity of
idolatry, and are well informed of the nature of the purer mode of
divine worship. but as in the rites, ceremonies and festivals of
idolatry they find the source of their comforts and fortune, they
not only never fail to protect idol worship from all attacks, but
even advance and encourage it in the utmost of their power, by
keeping the knowledge of their scriptures concealed from the rest of
the people. their followers too, confiding in these leaders, feel
gratification in the idea of the divine nature residing in a being
resembling themselves in birth , shape and propensities; and are
naturally themselves in birth, shape and propensities to the senses,
though destructive of moral principles and the fruitful parent of
prejudice and superstition. – Raja Ram Mohan works p-68

Jihadi Terrorism Is Back To Mumbai With High Scale Intensity Surprising Bharat While PM Been In Dreams Of Hindu Terrorism. Terrorists Have Proved That Exclusively, Credit Must Go To Them. Bharat Facing War. Congress Relaxing By Generating Hindu Terrorism.

So happened as expected based on the soft attitude of the government of Bharat India. Now the Westerns have been involved that could lead to awaken the government for there is no value of the lives of the Bharat citizens in the eyes of the government. The terrorists acceding to Bharat Mumbai did their jobs to challenge the government & the public that they are responsible for the terrorist attacks in Bharat. The ATS & the intelligence were busy with the alleged Hindu terrorism but the terrorists had been preparing for a war level attack & they executed that too successfully. The ATS has lost its top official who was involved with the political pressure to name the Hindus as terrorists. The agencies lost months on the imaginary Hindu terrorism leading the way to the Islamic terrorism.

The Government has been sleeping in beautiful dreams of elections leaving the public at stake of terrorism. Who shall say now that the ATS official was killed by the ATS official as was blamed on the Batla House encounter? What shall the champions of secular forces speak about the case? Shall they still say that the attack was by the Hindus forces? The government must do something for the current time till they shall remain in the office or the Bharat shall not forgive them. It is too sad that the government just to win the elections did not care for the people & did not hang the terrorists. This is the beginning of the terrorism. The people of Bharat shall be subject to extensive terrorism by the internal as well as external forces. The Jihadis have been too upset with the alleged involvement of so called Hindu terrorists. They could not digest the Hindu terrorism for the sake of Jihadis being the hero of terrorism. The government & particularly the PM is directly responsible for the terrorism uprising.

A HUNGRY INDIA WILL BECOME AN ANGRY INDIA

K P Prabhakaran NairFirst Published : 27 Nov 2008 12:43:00 AM ISTLast Updated : 28 Nov 2008 01:13:58 AM ISTIn the seventeenth century France, with a raging famine, when the poor were getting restive, the Empress of France advised the poor to eat cake instead of bread. The result? France burned and the Empress paid dear for her inconsiderate folly with her life. India might not burn, because, hunger is spreading, but there is a growing groundswell of resentment among the poor and hungry, while our netas seem to be content only with their speeches on the podium.

First we were told that the country is self-sufficient in food, especially in wheat. The agricultural messiahs, as usual, promptly added their usual supportive bit. Soon Minister of Agriculture Sharad Pawar imported close to two million tonnes of wheat at an exorbitant price. This was two years ago. And then the agricultural messiahs came up with another ploy. They said the country produced enough and more, only the poor have no purchasing power.

The question: If indeed India is producing enough, why does not food come cheap? In rice eating Kerala a kilogram of low-grade rice costs Rs 23. Atta doesn’t sell at less than Rs 20-30 a kilo in the open market, branded one costs even more. About cooking oil and pulses the protein supplement of the poor the less said the better. Look at China. For a comparable population of 1.3 billion, the country harvested more than 550 million tonnes of cereals last year. Ours for a one billion plus population at 220 million tonnes pales in comparison. So, neither the “self- sufficiency” nor the “lack of purchasing power” ploy will wash any more.

The country simply is unable to produce enough to meet the needs of its burgeoning population. Post-reform period, foodgrain production plummeted to 1.6 per cent per annum, while population growth at 1.9 per cent per annum now, has already set in motion the “Malthusian Phenomenon” of population growth outstripping growth in food production.

The agricultural fraternity must wake up from its somnolent state, lest a hungry India turn out to be an angry India.

The latest “Economic Outlook for 2007- 08” put out by the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister, under the stewardship of former RBI Governor Rangarajan, puts India in very poor light compared to China on the farm front and buttresses its argument by noting that the “traditional excuses” for India’s “sub-standard performance in the farm sector” are not only “tired”, but, “inadequate”.

Coming from the knowledgeable babus, this must be a devastating indictment of India’s performance on the farm front in the so-called “reform” period.

But, the most distressing document is the very recent “India State Hunger Index”, put out by the Washington-based International Food Policy Research Institute.

Look at some of the startling observations: Punjab, the traditional front-runner in farming, has a hunger level below Vietnam and Honduras, which already are placed low in global ranking. Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and Bihar, are at the top place in the India State Hunger Index.

“When Indian states are compared to countries in the 2008 Global Hunger Index, Madhya Pradesh ranks between the war and famine ravaged Ethiopia and Chad” notes the report. In fact “India’s rate of child malnutrition is higher than in famine ravaged Sub-Saharan Africa” adds the report. Chadha, member of the PM’s Economic Advisory Council, who released the report, has this to say: “Figuring in the 88 hungry countries list itself is shameful for the country. Policymakers have to think about it. High GDP growth is not sufficient. Inclusive growth is necessary”. The country has a poor record of distribution of wealth, he added. More and more Indian billionaires are getting into the Forbes list.

Never mind, the poor and hungry can always be thrown to the wolves.

India, which scored 66th place in the Global Hunger list of 88 countries, does not have a single state in the “low hunger” or “moderate hunger” categories.

Twelve states, including Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat and West Bengal are in the “alarming category”, with Madhya Pradesh falling in the “extremely alarming” category. Punjab, Kerala and Haryana, are in the “serious category”.

According to the report, underweight children accounted for the greatest contribution to the state Index for almost all states, followed by calorie intake. It is very important to remember that today’s young generation will be tomorrow’s work force. What can India expect from such an emaciated work force? The Millennium Development Goals (MDG) targets to reduce world hunger by 50 per cent by 2015. That is just six years away. Given the lacklustre hunger eradication programmes, can India ever hope to achieve this, when more than a fifth of its population — more than 200 million — the largest in the world, is already hungry? It is in this connection that the “Right to Food” 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights to food that has been passed by the UN, which needs to be critically examined. Article 25 of the Declaration maintains “Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and his family, including food… and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age and other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control”.

In 1966, the UN General Assembly adopted the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, which further formalises the right to food as a basic human right. Article 11 of the Covenant further endorsed Article 25 of the 1948 Declaration cited above.

By 1989, as many as 85 states, including India, had signed the Covenant. Yet, more than half a century after adopting the original Declaration, and after three world food summits, and a so-called green revolution that was touted as filling our granaries, India hosts the highest number of hungry in the world. Is anything more shameful than this?

There are as many as 2,07,000 temples in Karnataka & the total income of these temples amounts to 72 crores. Out of this, only a sum of 6 crores are being spent by the Government for their upkeep. On the other hand, the Govt. spend a phenomenal amount of Rs 50 crores for the madrassas & Rs 10 crores for the churches (from Govt. funds) In a period of 5 years 50,000 temples will be closed for the want of funds. --Sri Sri Ravishankar

Temples in India are under Government control. Only 18% of revenue generated is said to be given back for temple purposes, while remaining 82% is used for other purposes by Govt. at their discretion, by massive sale of temple lands, demolitions, lootings, encroachments occurring all over AP, Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, etc. As a community it is our duty to protect temples to save our religion, culture, arts and traditions.

What are the funds used for?

Funds are used for awareness campaigns and legal expenses. Several illegal sales of temple lands were challenged in High Court and put on hold. Kamal Kumar Swami of GHHF walked 3500 Kms (padayatra) visiting temples in hundreds of villages bringing awareness to more than a million people. It culminated at Tirupathi in Jan 2008 attended by 12,000 and was covered extensively in the media. Currently he is on 2nd padayatra for 5000 Kms bringing awareness to 10 million, culminating at Tirupathi on Feb 16, 2009. Prominent saints such as Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Swami Dayananda Saraswati along with more than 50,000 people are expected to attend at Tirupathi. Future action plan is to challenge this discriminatory law in Supreme Court.

Court rejects ATS plea for Pragyna, Purohit's custody

Tuesday, 25 November , 2008, 01:56

Mumbai: In a setback to the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad in the Malegaon blast case, a MCOCA court here on Monday rejected the agency's plea for granting it the custody of accused sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, Lt Col Prasad Purohit and Ajay Rahirkar after they alleged physical torture and threat to strip and kill them.

The ATS sought the custody of the trio contending their interrogation was needed to find out the "sinister design of Hindu radical group Abhinav Bharat, which appears to be instrumental in promoting, advocating and inciting unlawful and terrorist activities".

ATS made me hear obscene CD: Sadhvi

However, Special MCOCA Judge Y D Shinde rejected the ATS plea and instead sent them as also four other accused to judicial custody till December 3.

All the seven accused produced before the court on Monday alleged they were physically and mentally tortured by the ATS while they were in its custody.

Clad in an saffron outfit with vermilion on her forehead, sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur told the court that she has been mentally and physically harassed by the ATS.

"ATS officials threatened to strip me and hang me upside down if I did not confess about my involvement in the blast. I am mentally disturbed and not able to eat anything," the sadhvi told the judge.

Purohit said he had been hung upside down from a rod and his hands were tied to two poles due to which he has lost sensation from his wrist to his fingers.

Sena to take to streets for sadhvi

"The ATS, while questioning me, said it would plant RDX in my house and that it would be very easy for it to kill me in an encounter," Purohit told the court.

Another accused and retired army officer Ramesh Upadhyay alleged he was tortured by Additional Commissioner of Police (ATS) Parambir Singh and Sukhwinder Singh in custody.

"Parambir and Sukhwinder physically abused me and then threatened to parade my wife and daughter naked in the police station and get them raped by all the officers here," Upadhyay said.

The sadhvi and Purohit filed an application before the court seeking to be sent for medical examination in order to prove that they had been tortured in custody by the ATS.

Delhi doctor denies link with Malegaon blast

Special public prosecutor Rohini Salian argued that the source from where the explosives came and if money for them was obtained through hawala needs to be probed through interrogation of the sadhvi, Purohit and Rahirkar.

Sadhvi's advocate Ganesh Sonavi, however, argued that the only connection she has with the September 29 Malegaon blast is the vehicle used in the bombing.

"Apart from the vehicle, which was sold to someone else by the sadhvi much before the blasts, the ATS has no evidence to connect Sadhvi to the blast," he argued.

Malhotra wants narco-test of ATS officials

Purohit's advocate Shrikant Shivade argued that police custody is sought only for torturing the accused and forcibly extracting a confession from them.

The court will on Tuesday pass an order on whether a probe needs to be initiated into the allegations levelled against the ATS officials by the arrested accused.

Accepting the defence lawyers' arguments that further custody of the accused would not be required, the court remanded the seven accused to judicial custody.

Eleven persons have so far been arrested in connection with Malegaon blast and all of them were booked under the stringent Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) last week.

SELF SABOTAGE

Self Sabotage

a message from Jennifer Hoffman
Sunday, 23 November, 2008

Each lifetime is a journey in overcoming soul wounds and their lessons from paths we have already traveled. These wounds and lessons are revealed to us in our victim story, which represents the beliefs that we have about our lack of control, powerlessness and ultimately, our disconnection from Source. Our victim story plays out in our life in many different ways, through people, situations and events. But none of them is as powerful as the way in which we re-create our victim story through self-sabotage, the deliberate destruction of our dreams through our own efforts.

Self-sabotage is an unconscious manifestation of our victim story in which we create proof that we are unlucky, undeserving, unworthy and not entitled to the blessings that we may believe we have access to but cannot connect to. With self sabotage we do not need anyone else to take our good away from us, we do it ourselves. And it happens when we are so afraid of losing something that we destroy it first or so afraid of success and what happens afterwards that we ensure that it never happens.

Fear is part of every act of self-sabotage and it is a deep seated fear that we have carried for lifetimes. We can fear success because we may have once abused power. Or we fear loss, betrayal, abuse or abandonment, so we ensure that we never move past our position in life. The source of our fears may be unknown, we just know that we are terrified, unable to move forward. The unconscious nature of self-sabotage keeps our fears and our motivation hidden until we are ready to release our victim story.

We are unaware that we are in self-sabotage mode until we realize that we could have made different choices or acted differently. This can either create another victim story or raise our awareness that we are using self-sabotage to make our victim story true. The choice is ours and until we are willing to do things differently our victim story will repeat itself in self-sabotage and we will wonder what happened to our life and our dreams, and why they never seem to come true. This week, look at any areas of your life where you are in self sabotage. Can you find your victim story and make a choice to act differently? If you do, you will be many steps closer to living the life you want to live and putting your victim story back in the past.

THINNING HIMALAYAN GLACIERS

« Daily InspirationChola Inscriptions In Temple Tell Tale of India’s History »Thinning Himalayan Glaciers May Deprive Half A Billion Indians of Water
Source: http://www.hinduonnet.com/thehindu/holnus/001200811191521.htm

WASHINGTON, DC, USA, November 21, 2008: The absence of radiation from three ice cores drilled in a Himalayan glacier bodes ill for half billion people living downstream in India. This could hit future water supplies. These missing markers of radiation are remnants from atomic bomb tests a half-century ago, as in the Naimona’nyi glacier in Tibet. All the contaminated ice is now gone.

Seasonal runoff from glaciers like Naimona’nyi feeds the Indus, the Ganga and the Brahmaputra rivers. In some places, for some months each year, those rivers are severely depleted now, researchers said. The absence of new ice accumulating on the glaciers will only worsen that problem.

Lonnie Thompson, professor of earth sciences at Ohio State University (OSU), feared that other high altitude glaciers may be facing similar problems. “When you think about the millions of people over there who depend on the water locked in that ice, if they don’t have it available in the future, that will be a serious problem,” he said.

“The current models that predict river flow in the region haven’t considered that some of these glaciers are actually thinning,” said Natalie Kehrwald, doctoral student at OSU and co-author of the paper.

THE FUTURE AMERICAN REVOLUTION PREDICTED IN FOUR YEARS

From: Pratab Advani
Subject: The man who predicted...is now forecasting revolution in America
To: "Pratab Advani"
Date: Monday, November 24, 2008, 9:21 AM

WOW! This seems unbelievable but here are Celente’s credentials http://www.trendsresearch.com/
If fractionally true - we are in for a dark harrowing period of economic boondocks.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWaU_3Wy8OU&feature=related and more….- Pratap

The Forthcoming Holocaust

The man who predicted the 1987 stock market crash and the fall of the Soviet Union is now forecasting revolution in America, food riots and tax rebellions - all within four years, while cautioning that putting food on the table will be a more pressing concern than buying Christmas gifts by 2012.

Gerald Celente (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gerald_Celente), the CEO of Trends Research Institute, is renowned for his accuracy in predicting future world and economic events, which will send a chill down your spine considering what he told Fox News this week.

Celente says that by 2012 America will become an undeveloped nation, that there will be a revolution marked by food riots, squatter rebellions, tax revolts and job marches, and that holidays will be more about obtaining food, not gifts.

"We're going to see the end of the retail Christmas....we're going to see a fundamental shift take place....putting food on the table is going to be more important that putting gifts under the Christmas tree," said Celente, adding that the situation would be "worse than the great depression".

"America's going to go through a transition the likes of which no one is prepared for," said Celente, noting that people's refusal to acknowledge that America was even in a recession highlights how big a problem denial is in being ready for the true scale of the crisis.

Celente, who successfully predicted the 1997 Asian Currency Crisis, the subprime mortgage collapse and the massive devaluation of the U.S. dollar, told UPI in November last year that the following year would be known as "The Panic of 2008," adding that "giants (would) tumble to their deaths," which is exactly what we have witnessed with the collapse of Lehman Brothers, Bear Stearns and others. He also said that the dollar would eventually be devalued by as much as 90 percent.

The consequence of what we have seen unfold this year would lead to a lowering in living standards, Celente predicted a year ago, which is also being borne out by plummeting retail sales figures.

The prospect of revolution was a concept echoed by a British Ministry of Defence report last year, which predicted that within 30 years, the growing gap between the super rich and the middle class, along with an urban underclass threatening social order would mean, "The world's middle classes might unite, using access to knowledge, resources and skills to shape transnational processes in their own class interest," and that, "The middle classes could become a revolutionary class."

In a separate recent interview, Celente went further on the subject of revolution in America.

"There will be a revolution in this country," he said. "It's not going to come yet, but it's going to come down the line and we're going to see a third party and this was the catalyst for it: the takeover of Washington, D. C., in broad daylight by Wall Street in this bloodless coup. And it will happen as conditions continue to worsen."

"The first thing to do is organize with tax revolts. That's going to be the big one because people can't afford to pay more school tax, property tax, any kind of tax. You're going to start seeing those kinds of protests start to develop."

"It's going to be very bleak. Very sad. And there is going to be a lot of homeless, the likes of which we have never seen before. Tent cities are already sprouting up around the country and we're going to see many more."

"We're going to start seeing huge areas of vacant real estate and squatters living in them as well. It's going to be a picture the likes of which Americans are not going to be used to. It's going to come as a shock and with it, there's going to be a lot of crime. And the crime is going to be a lot worse than it was before because in the last 1929 Depression, people's minds weren't wrecked on all these modern drugs - over-the-counter drugs, or crystal meth or whatever it might be. So, you have a huge underclass of very desperate people with their minds chemically blown beyond anybody's comprehension."

The George Washington blog has compiled a list of quotes attesting to Celente's accuracy as a trend forecaster.

"When CNN wants to know about the Top Trends, we ask Gerald Celente."
- CNN Headline News

"Gerald Celente has a knack for getting the zeitgeist right."
- USA Today

"There's not a better trend forecaster than Gerald Celente. The man knows what he's talking about."
- CNBC

"Those who take their predictions seriously ... consider Gerald Celente and the Trends Research Institute."
- The Wall Street Journal

"Gerald Celente is always ahead of the curve on trends and uncannily on the mark ... he's one of the most accurate forecasters around."
- The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

"Mr. Celente tracks the world's social, economic and business trends for corporate clients."
- The New York Times

"Mr. Celente is a very intelligent guy. We are able to learn about trends from an authority."
- 48 Hours, CBS News

"Gerald Celente has a solid track record. He has predicted everything from the 1987 stock market crash and the demise of the Soviet Union to green marketing and corporate downsizing."
- The Detroit News

"Gerald Celente forecast the 1987 stock market crash, 'green marketing,' and the boom in gourmet coffees."
- Chicago Tribune

"The Trends Research Institute is the Standard and Poors of Popular Culture."
- The Los Angeles Times

"If Nostradamus were alive today, he'd have a hard time keeping up with Gerald Celente."
- New York Post

So there you have it - hardly a nutjob conspiracy theorist blowhard now is he? The price of not heeding his warnings will be far greater than the cost of preparing for the future now. Storable food and gold are two good places to make a start.

A reminder about this scam.

Subject: Jury Duty Scam

Jury Duty Scam DO NOT DELETE WITHOUT READING !

This has been verified by the FBI (their link is included below.) Please pass this on to everyone in your email address book. It is spreading fast so be prepared should you get this call. Most of us take those summonses for jury duty seriously, but enough people skip out on their civic duty that a new and ominous kind of fraud has surfaced.

The caller claims to be a jury coordinator. If you protest that you never received a summons for jury duty, the scammer asks you for your Social Security number and date of birth so he or she can verify the information and cancel the arrest warrant. Give out any of this information and bingo! your identity was just stolen.

The fraud has been reported so far in 11 states. This swindle is particularly insidious because they use intimidation over the phone to try to bully people into giving information by pretending they are with the court system. The FBI and the federal court system have issued nationwide alerts on their web sites, warning consumers about the fraud.

ANOTHER BAD NEWS

Home > > Michael Jackson converts to Islam

IANSFirst Published : 21 Nov 2008 01:04:00 PM ISTLast Updated : LONDON: Troubled pop star Michael Jackson has converted to Islam and changed his name to Mikaeel.

Thesun.co.uk reports that Jackson, 50, was dressed in the Islamic garb as he pledged his allegiance to the Koran at a friend's house in Los Angeles. He sat on the floor as an Imam was called to officiate the ceremony.

Jackson, who was raised a Jehovah's Witness, decided to convert after discussing religion with a music producer and songwriter on his new album -- both of them converts to Islam.

"They began talking to him about their beliefs and how they thought they had become better people after they converted. Michael soon began warming to the idea. An Imam was summoned, and Michael went through the shahada, which is the Muslim declaration of belief," a source was quoted as saying.

Mikaeel is the name of one of Allah's angels.

WHAT LIES ON THE OTHER SIDE

~DEATH~

A WONDERFUL WAY TO EXPLAIN IT..

A sick man turned to his doctor as
he was preparing to
leave the examination room and said,

'Doctor, I am afraid to die..
Tell me what lies on the other side.'

Very quietly, the doctor said, 'I don't know.'

'You don't know? You, a Christian man,
do not know what is on the other side?'

The doctor was holding the handle
of the door;
on the other side came a sound of
scratching and whining,
and as he opened the door, a dog sprang into the room
and leaped on him with an eager show of
gladness.
Turning to the patient, the doctor said,

'Did you notice my dog?
He's never been in this room before.
He didn't know what was inside.
He knew nothing except that his master was here, and when the
door opened, he sprang in without fear.
I know little
of what is on the other side of death,
but I do know one thing...

I know my Master is there and that is
enough..'

May there always be peace
within you.

May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be and that the Will of God will never take you where the Grace of God cannot protect you .

I believe that
friends are quiet angels
who lift us to our feet
when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly.

PETITION AGAINST ATS

Sena worker files petition against ATS
Rahi Gaikwad
MUMBAI: A Shiv Sena party worker, Shilpa Sanjay Deshmukh, filed a petition at the Bombay High Court on Thursday demanding a judicial inquiry into the alleged ill-treatment of the Malegaon blast suspect, Pragnya Singh Thakur. The petition also demands that the case be transferred from the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) to the State CID in Pune.
Ms. Deshmukh said media reports on Pragnya's custodial torture and illegal detention prompted her to file the petition. The reports were based on Pragnya's statement submitted to the Nashik court on Monday.
"I have filed the petition in my individual capacity. My party has not asked me to do it, although they are aware of it," she said.
The petition says that male officers had investigated Pragnya and narco tests were conducted on her afterafter her police custody ended.
Stating Pragnya's religious orientation, it chides the ATS investigation for being prejudiced against Hindu organisations and Hindu accused. In contrast, the ATS has soft peddled the involvement of "Muslim organisation Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI)."
The petition criticises the charges of the investigating agency as "baseless," especially in the context of the ATS' denial of Lieutenant-Colonel Prasad Purohit's involvement in the Samjhauta blast.
Citing an instance of a narco test in another case, the petition states Karim Telgi, prime accused in the stamp paper scam, had named many political leaders in his tests; however, "the State government ignored the same for the reasons best known to them, says the petition." "This is an example of giving unequal treatment for the results of narco analysis test. There should be guidelines for conducting narco analysis test."
Ms. Deshmukh takes exception to Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister R.R. Patil's statement that there was strong proof against the Malegaon blast suspects. "The matter is sub-judice and therefore such an interview is highly objectionable and it is also prejudicial"
While Ms. Deshmukh has used media reports to put forth her claims, she has objected to ATS "disclosing everything to the media" and has called for restricting the ATS from making statement to the media "in public interest."
The date of the hearing is not yet decided. "We have just filed the petition today. It may come up for hearing by next Thursday. The issue is very hot," said Ms. Deshmukh's lawyer V.P. Patil.

Sadhwi Pragyan Singh Thakur & Ors: Accused

AFFIDAVIT

I, Sadhwi Pragyan Chandrapal Singh Thakur, Age 38 years, Occupation — Nil, residing at 7, Ganga Sagar Apartment, Katodara Road, Surat, Gujarat State do hereby state on solemn affirmation as under:

1. I say that I am a resident of Madhya Pradesh. My parents live in Surat, Gujarat where they shifted residence a couple of years ago. I say that for some years now, I found myself becoming increasingly detached from the material world and correspondingly found tremendous comfort and solace in Spiritualism. Accordingly I decided to renounce the material world and become a Sanyasin. On 30.1.2007, after performing the appropriate Hindu Religious rites and prayers I became a Sadhwi. I say that ever since then, I have been residing in a ashram at Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. My life at the Ashram almost exclusively consisted of prayers, meditation, yoga and the reading of spiritual texts. At the ashram I did not watch TV channels and had practically no access to newspapers.

2. I say that apart from my activities at the ashram, I travelled chiefly around North India for the purpose of religious discourses and sermons. In connection with these latter activities, between 23.9.2008 and 4.10.2008, I was in Indore where I stayed at the residence of one Annaji who is my disciple. In the evening of 4th October, 2008, I returned to my ashram in Jabalpur.

3. I say that on 7.10.2008, when I was at Jabalpur Ashram, I received a call from a police officer from the ATS, Maharashtra, called Mr Sawant, who wanted to know about my LML Freedom vehicle. However, I told him I had sold it long back and not concerned with it. However, he insisted me to come down to Surat as he wanted to question me at length about it. I was reluctant to go to Surat by leaving the Ashram and insisted for him to come down to Jabalpur, but he refused and told me to come down to Surat as early as possible.

4. I further say that accordingly I travelled to Surat by train via Ujjain and arrived at Surat on 10.10.2008 early in the morning and my disciple Shri Bhimbhai Pasricha had to receive me at Railway Station and I went to his place at Atop Nagar.

5. I say that here at about 10 AM, I met officer Mr Sawant who had apparently travelled to Surat to trace the ownership of a LML Freedom two wheeler and I questioned him as to what had happened to my vehicle and why you are asking about it. I say that I it was at this point time, Mr Sawant told me that my vehicle had been allegedly planted with the explosives and subsequently detonated in Malegaon in the last week of September. I also say that it was here for the first time, I came to know that my old vehicle had been allegedly used in Malegaon blast, which was completely shocking to me. I confirmed to Mr Sawant that the LML Freedom 2 wheeler of the colour and number, he mentioned had once belonged to me.

6. I say that in Surat during the course of my interrogation with Mr Sawant, I mentioned to him that the LML Freedom two wheeler once owned by me was subsequently sold to one Sunil Joshi of Madhya Pradesh way back in October, 2004 and that Mr Joshi had paid me Rs 24,000/- for the same. I had also signed the necessary TT Form for RTO transfer in October, 2004 itself. I categorically asserted to Mr Sawant that since October, 2004 I had no control over the vehicle or its movements and usage.

7. I further say that in spite of my answers, Mr. Sawant repeatedly asked me how the vehicle reached Malegaon and how it came to be involved in the bomb blast on 29.9.2008. I repeatedly replied that I could not answer his questions as I had no control of the vehicle since October, 2004.

8. I also say that Mr Sawant however informed me that he did not believe me and that I would have to accompany him and his ATS team to Mumbai for further interrogation and he assured me that after such interrogation I would be free to go back to my ashram.

9. It is significant to mention that I was not formally arrested on 10.10.2008. Even though no formal summons to attend as a Witness was served upon me to make my self available for interrogation in Mumbai, and even though I was within my rights to insist that I be interrogated at the place where I reside ie Jabalpur, trusting Mr Sawant and having nothing to hide, I agreed to accompany the ATS team to Mumbai. I say Mr Sawant told me take my father along with me. However, due to his old age, I told him it was not proper take down him to Mumbai and suggested that my disciple, one Mr Bhimbhai Pasricha, in whose very residence my questioning was being done by the ATS. I further say that at 5.15 PM myself, Mr Pasricha and the ATS officer left Surat and reached Bombay on the very night of 10.10.2008. In Bombay I was taken straight away to the ATS office at Kalachowkie.

10. Thereafter for two days I was detained and interrogated by the ATS team in Mumbai. The questions were repetitive and directed at somehow involving me in the bomb blast in Malegaon on 29.9.2008. My answers remained constant throughout.

11. I further say that on 12.10.2008 the ATS changed the mode of interrogation and became extremely aggressive with me. At first they asked my said disciple Mr Bhimbhai Pasricha to beat me with sticks, belts etc, on my palms, forehands, soles, etc. When Mr Pasricha refused to do so, he was severely beaten by the ATS. Ultimately with the greatest reluctance, he complied with the ATS orders but obviously being my disciple, he exerted the very minimum of force on me. He was then pushed aside by a member of the ATS squad knows as Khanwilkar, who then himself commenced beating me severely with a belt on my hands, forearms, palms, feet, soles, causing me bruises, swelling and contusions in these areas.

12. I say that from the 13th onwards, I say that I was beaten during the day, night and midnight. On two occasions I was even woken up in the early hours of the morning at 4 am and questioned about my knowledge of the blasts. On these occasions, I was beaten by a senior officer having a moustache, whom I can identify. In addition I was subject to vulgar abuse and obscene language by members of the ATS team interrogating me. My Guru was abused and my chastity was questioned. I was physically and verbally traumatised to the extent that I wanted to commit suicide.

13. I further say that on 14th taken out for the examination at a far away place from ATS and was brought back in the afternoon and that I day I had no meeting or even knowledge about Mr Pasricha.

14. I say that on 15th October, after noon, both myself and Mr Pasricha were taken by ATS vehicles to Hotel Rajdoot in Nagpada locality of Mumbai and were kept in Room Nos. 315 and 314 respectively and we were made to sign the Hotel Entry register, however, we did not pay or deposit any money with the hotel manager, which was done by the ATS.

15. I say that after putting into this hotel I was asked to make phone calls from mobile No. 94066 00004 and from one more mobile instrument not belonging to me to speak couple of persons including one of my female disciple and I was asked to say that I was in a hotel in Mumbai and hale & hearty and was doing fine. I say that at that time, I did not know why I was made to say so. I would reveal the name of my female disciple at an appropriate time.

16. I say that as a result of the custodial violence/torture, mental stress, anxiety that were developed in the process, I was subjected to, I developed acute abdominal and kidney pains. I lost my appetite, became nauseous and giddy and prone to having bouts of unconsciousness. In view of this, within few hours after putting in Rajdoot Hospital, I was removed from the ATS office and was taken a hospital which learnt it to be Shusrusha Hospital wherein I was kept in ICU. I say that within half an hour Mr Bhimbhai Pasricha came down to Shushrusha Hospital with some ATS men and my Hospital admission forms, and other medical examination forms, etc were signed by him. I say that Mr Khanwilkar deposited money to the hospital management for me, which I learnt from Mr Bhimbhai. I say that after some time Mr Pasricha left the Hospital along with the ATS men and thereafter I have no contact with of any nature.

17. I say that I underwent a treatment over here for 3 to 4 days. I say that as my condition did not improve, I was taken to another hospital whose name I cannot recall. This hospital consisted of a high rise building where I was treated for 2 to 3 days. I say that no female police constable was by my side either in Hotel Rajdoot or in either of the two hospitals.

18. I say that both at the hotel and the hospitals, I was carried on a stretcher and my face was always covered with a black hood to avoid my face from being seen. From the second hospital, I was brought back to the ATS office at Kalachowkie.

19. I say that I was finally arrested on 23.10.2008 and produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nasik on 24.1.2008. I was remanded to police custody on that date till 3.11.2008. Up to the 24.10.2008 and even sometime thereafter, I was denied access to a Lawyer or any member of my family. A polygraph test was conducted on me while I was in illegal detention prior to 23.10.2008. Thereafter a second polygraph test was conducted on 01.11.2008. On 04.11.2008, after I was remanded to Judicial custody on being presented before Nasik court on 03.11.2008, I also say that a Narco analysis test was also conducted on me.

20. I say that both the lie detector test as well as the Narco analysis test were conducted with out my consent. Never the less all these investigative tests have only established my innocence in the Malegaon bomb blast that took place on 29.9.2008. I finally was allowed to meet my sister Mrs Parthibha Bhagwan Jha on the evening of 02.11.2008, who had brought vakalatnamas of Advocate Ganesh Sovani who was engaged by my sister and her husband Mr Bhagwan Jha and had met him couple times in that week. This meeting was not conducted in private since members of the ATS stood within hearing distance of my sister and myself. I met my Advocate Ganesh Sovani for the first time in the court room of this Hon'ble Court very briefly for 4 to 5 minutes prior to the arguments commencing on my remand application on 03.11.2008.

21. I say that this period of 4 to 5 minutes was too short for me to give complete instructions as to what had transpired from 10th October onwards, about my vehicle, my stay at Kalachowkie, my illegal detention, the ill-treatment mitigated to me by ATS men, the beating job that was forced on my disciple to beat me, but which he carried out reluctantly, without any force, etc. I say that for this reasons, all the details had not reflected in the hand written application that was placed on record by my advocate Mr Sovani, for paucity of time to give all these instructions.

22. I say that on the evening of Wednesday 12.11.2008, I was allowed to meet my Advocate Ganesh Sovani for about 5-6 minutes again in the presence of female staff of Byculla jail. I say that again on 13.11.2008 I was allowed to talk to my said lawyer for 8-10 minutes to give him some more details. Thereafter, on Friday 14.11.2008 evening at about 04.30 PM, I was given nearly 20 minutes to talk to my said lawyer at length, and it was during this period I could narrate my entire ordeal with the ATS which is reproduced hereinabove.

23. I unambiguously state that I am totally innocent of any offence whatsoever. In particular I have no connection with the Malegaon bomb blast of 29.9.2008. While my former ownership of LML Freedom 2 wheeler, which was allegedly used in the Malegaon bomb blast entitled the ATS to interrogate me, that agency was not entitled to subject me to the treatment mentioned hereinabove. Their conduct discloses a blatant violation of statutory provisions of law, custodial abuse and violence, mental and physical torture and prolonged illegal detention. The ATS are fully aware that I am innocent. It appears however that they have a mandate from their political superiors to necessarily implicate me with Malegaon blasts with a view to suggest that Hindu Religious extremists were resorting to terrorism. The prolonged illegal detention, custodial abuse and physical torture were designed to compel me to confess to crimes I had not committed. This attempt of false implication persisted for the entire period between 10.10.2008 and 02.11.2008 . During this entire period I was deliberately isolated from my family and denied access to Lawyers. I say that no arrest panchanama was done after my arrest on 23.10.2008 and I was never asked about the names, addresses and telephone / mobile Nos. details to whom I would like to convey my arrest. I say that attention from my illegal detention was sought to be diverted by the ATS by daily leaking information regarding my involvement which was manifestly false and only indicated the malafide nature of the investigation. .

24. I say that While I was thus painted as a sinister mastermind of the Malegaon blasts, a role which has now been subtly reassigned by the ATS to Lt Col Purohit — crippled and vulnerable as I was by the detention, abuse and torture, I could not protest my innocence. Nor was I allowed access to family, friends and Lawyers who could have done so.

25. I say that it is necessary that a detailed enquiry of my illegal detention, custodial torture, etc needs to be done and for which I am ready and willing to get subjected to any such medical test or tests and I also want the ATS officers, who interrogated me, tortured me, etc should also be put to the same tests.

26. I say that the ATS has caused blatant violations of my human rights and I should get a justice and they need to be adequately dealt with as per the provisions of law.

27. In the circumstances I now pray for the following relief:

a) that the ATS be directed to submit an explanation for my detention without authority of law between 10.10.2008 and 23.10.2008;

b). that enquiry/investigati on be conducted into my accusation made hereinabove on oath, regarding custodial torture/violence and mental and psychological abuse;

c). that such investigation as referred to in (b) above, include a polygraph test, as well as Narco analysis on me to determine the veracity of my accusations;

d). that such investigation to include a polygraph test and narco analysis on officers of the ATS named by me, and also of those officers whose names, I do not know, but I can identify, for they subjecting me to mental and physical abuse during custody as well as others to be identified by me;

e) that a report be called for from the ATS for the reasons of my admission in two hospitals ( Shusrusha an another) and the medical treatment undergone by me at the said two hospitals;

f) The ATS be directed to disclose the reasons for my stay at Hotel Rajdoot at Mumbai.;

g) For such further and other reliefs as may be fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.

BJP returns fire, says Cong behind many terror acts

PNS | New Delhi

Soon after the Congress accused the RSS of having links with SIMI,(LOL)-NK the BJP returned fire, claiming the ruling party was behind many terror activities and communal riots that took place in the country.

Getting into a verbal duel with the Congress on terrorism, the BJP tried to substantiate its claim by listing out the alleged relationship between three Congress Ministers and the ULFA in Assam, conviction of its Ministers in Gujarat in communal riots case and the tacit understanding it was having with Maoists in Andhra Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

"The Jamat-e-Ulema-Hind has submitted lists of 40 Congress leaders to Sonia Gandhi. They are names of those involved in the Godhra riots. Congress Seva Dal member Vimal Mushari, who is a close associate of the State Revenue Minister Bhumidhar Barman, has been arrested for his role in the recent serial bomb blasts in Assam," BJP spokesman Prakash Javadekar said.

The Congress, he said, which had spoken in favour of Madani, the Coimbatore bomb blasts accused, in the State Assembly of Kerala and which always worked hand in glove with Maoists, had no moral right to hurl baseless allegations against others.

Accusing the Congress of communalising the sensitive issue of terrorism and adopting a policy of 'spit & run' through baseless allegations against the nationalist organizations, the BJP said the ruling party appeared to be doing this exercise of politicising terrorism with a sinister design to save itself from the nationwide anger against its soft policy towards terrorism.

Taking a critical view of 'selective leaks' by Maharashtra Anti-Terrorist Squad probing the Malegaon blast in which some Hindu religious leaders and an Army official are suspects, BJP also accused the Congress Government in the State of 'pressurising and directing' the investigation.

"The BJP charges the Congress Government in Maharashtra with pressurising, directing and misusing the ATS probe for its selfish political benefit. Congress is speaking more than the ATS. And why the selective leaks?" Javadekar asked.

The party spokesman alleged the Congress Government had forced ATS to close down inquiry into the serial train blasts in Mumbai on the request of some leaders who felt the sentiments of a religious community would be hurt.

"The State Government never allowed the ATS to conduct any scientific tests like narco analysis, polygraph tests on any of the suspects in that instance," Javadekar said.

"Similarly, the earlier 2006 Malegaon blasts case was handed over to the CBI only for political benefits," he said.
