WORLD DAY FOR THE ABOLITION OF MEAT - 31st JAN. 2011

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Romula D'Silva Mon, Jan 31, 2011 at 9:29 AM
To: romula9

Because meat production involves killing the animals
that are eaten,
because their living conditions and slaughter causes
them unending suffering,
because eating meat and other animal products is not
necessary to live,
because sentient beings should not be tortured,
mistreated or killed unnecessarily,
therefore, factory farming, fishing and hunting animals for consumption, as well as selling and eating animal flesh,
should be abolished.

The meat & dairy industries are the major causes of global warming.
Eating meat is one completely unnecessary human habit, very harmful for human health and the environment. Step by step, the exploitation of animals is leading to destruction of mankind and the Earth altogether.

“The health and welfare of humans, animals and the environment are of equal importance. They share the same breath of life, are interconnected and interdependent. Live and help live!”

APPEAL FROM THE UNITED NATIONS

UN urges global move to a meat & dairy-free diet.

Man is the only creature that consumes without producing. He does not give milk, he does not lay eggs, he is too weak to pull the plough, he cannot run fast enough to catch rabbits. Yet he is lord of all the animals. ~George Orwell, Animal Farm

END GOAL OF DYNASTY & CONGRESS

LET'S LOOK AT THE END GOAL of the autocratic, all powerful almighty, anti-Hindu, all corrupt & all plundering perpetual Dynasty.

It is: "Total DESTRUCTION of Hindus, Hinduism, our historic and religious heritage, including literature, while spreading confusion, dividing communities, pitching one indigenous (native) community against another, plundering and looting with both hands ALL THE TIME."

For any wide-awake people even one day is enough to discover the NATURE of their rulers. It must be a very ignorant, intimidated, gutless and servile nation that even SIX DECADES are not enough to tell us as to WHO IS ON TOP.

It is the HINDUS, the end victims of our enemies' DEADLY STRATEGY, who are foremost in trusting the Muslims and serving the Christians.

Normal people keep EVERYTHING in their own hands to feel strong, secure and comfortable but the Hindus feel strong, comfortable and secure if a NON Hindu is Rashtrapati, Rashtrapatni or Rashtramata. Insecure timid Hindus will feel SAFE if a committed Catholic Sonia is on top but not a committed Hindu.

Now we can clearly see the STRATEGY of this "DICTATOR" DYNASTY unfolding before our eyes.

It must have been decided upon even BEFORE Partition. That is why PARTITION was effortless, quick and smooth for Nehru and Jinnah though the Hindus were plunged into BLOOD BATH and lost one third of SACRED "dharti" with Gandhi's cherished slogan "AKHAND BHARAT" blown up.

The second occasion was the invasion of KASHMIR. Nehru's defence was only for show. We saw through his mind when he stopped his army from advancing to recover the full State. The Indian Army is still STUCK there where Nehru intended them to "freeze" and die.

The third instance was the WAR over East Pakistan when eight million refugees, mostly Muslim, came crying to their "mother" Indira. She used the war to liberate them, but enslave and degrade the Hindus, betray Secularism (Akhand Bharat), and to enhance her own position to win the next elections that she did easily, riding the wave of victory. But the servile and ignorant people did not question, "Why has she returned the CAPTURED territory so quickly and willingly?"

How could sleeping Hindus ask this question if they had not asked the TWO before, e.g., 1. Why we surrendered LAHORE?, and 2. Why we begged UNO for cease fire when our own troops were ADVANCING?"

Having won the trust of the Hindus and having established herself as the "IRON LADY", Indira "Gandhi" took on the SIKHS, the traditional defenders of Hindusthan and living in the border State.

To a Muslim nothing is more annoying, irritating and irksome than an obstacle in his way of advance and conquest. Hence Nehru managed to completely ruin the Sikh community by giving their homeland (Lahore, Nankana Sahib, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi and Multan) to Mohammed of Mecca, and now Indira got her own chance to complete the job.

The DYNASTY knows that after the Sikhs are dead the Hindus will be a walk-over. Hence the invasion of East Punjab in 1984. Strict censorship and intimidation of Sikh leaders and media has not told the complete story of Sikh disaster in 1984.

We all know that none of the perpetrators of 1984 genocide in Delhi and elsewhere has been convicted and hanged.

Having given a severe blow to the Sikhs the next target were the TAMILS who were not only staunch Hindus but also demanding a little freedom from Dynasty's strangulating hold over Hindusthan. They resented the State control of their temples and misappropriation of temple funds (that is still going on unhindered and unchecked).

Rajviv was the CONTINUATION of Nehru's and Indira's policy and sent the Indian army to KILL the Tamils of INDIAN origin instead of giving them protection. But there was NO protection to them from Delhi just as there was NO protection to the Kashmiri Hindus in 1989. They were NOT given arms to defend themselves or given any protection. Instead Article 370 of Constitution was enforced. It was meant to feed and protect them, susidise their food, water, electricity and housing, while ensuring Muslim majority in the State.

What can we say of the sleeping Hindu nation who have not looked at all this, and a lot more (e.g., foreign wives, Bofors commission) besides, and cried,

"WOLF IN OUR SHEEP PEN!"

The scams, the astronomical foreign deposits and the despicable lickspittle Presidents and cabinet ministers and governors, are all leading to rapid weakening of the Hindu nation and its DISINTEGRATION.

In this context the only hope for an unarmed nation, being fed on the diet of Gandhi's "AHIMSA" and the defeatist doctrines of "TYAAG" (RENOUNCE!) and "MAYA" (world is an illusion), is the army. But the less said about the GUTS, PATRIOTISM and VISION of this army, the better.

Dynasty politics is about protecting ill-gotten wealth

DNA / R Vaidyanathan / Thursday, January 20, 2011 2:22 IST

The recent finding by Patrick French (India: A Portrait) is that more than two-thirds of the under-40 members of the Lok Sabha are hereditary and many of them are hyper-hereditary, based on their dynasty. Actually many of us forget that since 1885, members of the Motilal Nehru family have presided over the Congress party for 39 of its 125 years. Motilal Nehru was president for two years, Jawaharlal Nehru for nine, Indira Gandhi for eight, and Rajiv Gandhi for seven. Sonia Gandhi holds the record both within the dynasty and the party by having the longest, unbroken tenure of 13 years and is still going strong. The party has become a family enterprise and a non-family man like Narasimha Rao is not even recognised as a former prime minster. Following this tradition, we have Agatha Sangma from Megahalya to Omar Abdullah in Jammu and Kashmir to MK Alagiri in Tamil Nadu, inheriting the political throne.

The important point here is not about the national agenda of these political parties but their functioning and control. Whether it is DMK or the Shiv Sena, where the family battles have come out in open, or the NCP, where the heir apparent has been anointed — the issue is the family business called political parties. It is important to mention that Tamil Nadu is a pioneer of this model wherein the interests of the state, party, government, and people are subsumed for the welfare of the family enterprise. Like in all businesses, it is required to delineate the nature of the business model adopted by these family enterprises. In any business, particularly listed business, the shareholders’ wealth maximisation is the main objective. Unfortunately, these regional parties are not listed on the stock exchanges and hence the correct market valuation may not be available. But the total wealth declared by these leaders (including that of their multiple wives!) during election time in the form of affidavits can be a guide for the net worth of the enterprise.

The preliminary expenses here are related to rabble-rousing on caste or language or pro-poor issues. Another method is to promise largesse in the form of free electricity, free TV, free cinema, free rice, to be paid for by the state exchequer. In this model, the actual business entity need not worry about expenses since post-power, there will be a continuous revenue stream. The family business has to be conducted through various functional departments called commerce, agriculture, irrigation, roadways, education, power, and so on. Some are low-volume, high-margin centres like land allotment or C'Wealth Gamea or second generation mobile telephony spectrum, where one project can earn up to thousands of crores. Other business units, like elementary education, which is a large-scale transfer industry, are low-margin but high-volume business.

Every teacher transferred may provide only thousands of rupees, but the numbers are large. The family also needs to take care of the interests of other families (sub-regional or other caste parties), hence the creation of strategic business units. In this model, the expenses are borne by the government but revenues are enjoyed by the family. It is a win-win model that does not have any comparable international example. The time-frame for maximising the family wealth is specified after one election and that differentiates it from the other regular business models. Due to the short time span, the family can and does become rapacious and they need continuous extraction of higher bribes to meet their collective greed. The turnover and attrition among supporters is also high, since their aspirations also grow. Hence, the need to create powerful entry barriers as well as exit costs.

But if you or your children opt out of politics, then you cannot be a “dacoit capitalist” anymore since your ability to formulate policies is gone and there could even be vendetta by the current rulers. So make sure your son/daughter/wives/sambandhis (children’s in-laws) are in some business unit or the other. Will this business model meet its nemesis? Not for some years yet. One reason it will flourish is the increasing importance of land as a factor of production. In the 60s, capital was scare and land was easily allotted. Now capital is available, even from global sources, but land is scarce and that is the strength of these families. Control of land and its allotment is the primary sonrise (pun intended!) industry. To that extent, the family business will flourish. With further fragmentation, many family enterprises will be either in a merger and acquisition mode or in a small business-smaller reach mode. In such situation, some can go sick. Second, due to the greed of some of these families, the margins demanded from projects may exceed the cost of the project.

The future of India is ironically linked with these 40-50 families with their capacity for rabble-rousing along and their rapaciousness and greed. Let us celebrate our grass-root democracy that enhances such “family values”.

__ Global Financial Integrity: $104 billion Indian black money in foreign banks during 2000-2008

Global Financial Integrity reports $104 billion black money has been taken out of India between 2000 and 2008. Last years, CWG, 2G, etc don't figure in it. Estimates are $2000 billion of Indian black money has taken outside the country.
The question is, "who is richest in the world?" Choose among Raul Khan (Rahul Gandhi), Antonio Maino (Sonia Gandhi), Bill Gates, and two Ambanis together. Fool Indians keep on voting for subjugation by foreigners. Few days ago, they unfurled Pakistan's flag at Shri Nagar's Lal Chowk, but this goverment won't allow Indian flag to be unfurled there on the Republic Day. Sonia is openly destroying Hinduism and Bharatiya culture, but Indian slaves keep on touching her feet.

PR0OJECT CONVERSION - HINDUISM IN REVIEW

Twelve Months of Spiritual Promiscuity
Project ConversionHomeAboutAndrew BowenContactConvert’s CornerLinksProject Conversion BroadcastThe Schedule« Maria’s Journey into IslamMonth One: Day 27/Hinduism in Review

[Translate]
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When I was a kid I hated to try new things. I was a creature of habit. My parents had to make me try new things. “You’ll love soccer, if you tried it out.”

No thanks. I’ll stick to being anti-social and building forts in the woods.

But Mom and Dad had a mission: to expose me to everything they could so that I might develop into a well-rounded young man. Well, I don’t know if I turned cultivated but I did end up liking soccer.

So what’s my point? Project Conversion is an effort to take the lessons my parents taught me about trying new things and looking through the perspectives of others and apply that to the religious violence and bickering that has our world up in flames today. But instead of preaching about it, I decided to show the world how it’s done by putting my money where my mouth is and living it.

One man. Eleven faiths. One year to practice them all. That’s the mission. To live life in the shoes of another. And it started January 1st, 2011 with Hinduism. As promised, here is my review of the month I’ve lived.

What I’ve Learned/What Misconceptions Were Overcome?

“Truth is one, though the wise call it by many names” –the Rig Veda

When I began planning for Project Conversion, my future Jain Mentor told me that “Hinduism is the United States of philosophy.” I didn’t get it at the time but now I understand. Hinduism, like the US of A, is an amalgam of philosophies and theologies joined by a common religious “genetic” ancestor or goal. That’s what is meant by the above quote from the Rig Veda and arguably the whole meaning of Sanatana Dharma.

As I prepared for my month with Hinduism I felt overwhelmed. “So many gods,” I thought. “So many rituals, traditions, and history. Where do I begin?!” Because I grew up as Christian and was accustomed to only one form of God (Jesus) and one scripture (the Bible), the notion that within one religion I had a choice between different deities and holy scriptures was mind-blowing. Truth, it turned out, wasn’t relative, but a singular goal reached by many, many roads. But time was running out and I had to pick a road fast. I selected Shiva as my deity and thus narrowed down how my month would play out.

Shiva is the third aspect of the Supreme Reality (God), Brahman. As Shiva, we understand the creative and destructive cycles of nature. Shiva also represents the detached ascetic, persistent in meditation on the pervasive reality (the divine Self within and outside of us all), and covered in the ashes of burned sin (ignorance). He is represented by the lingam.

The lingam represents the formless, abstract reality of the divine. In Sanatana Dharma, there is freedom to use representations of the divine (murti) in order to meditate and focus on God, however the aspirant is encourage to develop his devotion to the point where such tools and methods are obsolete, as he reaches moksha, the realized state in which all is Brahman–including ourselves.

There are literally thousands of representations of the divine, each for one or more of its aspects. This is why figures like Jesus, the Buddha, and Krishna are all acceptable as projections of the divine within Hinduism. Each are a way to Truth. When I began this month, I clearly thought that Hinduism was a polytheistic faith due to these various representations. Now I know that, depending on which school of thought a Hindu belongs to, they are either monotheists (God exists as a part of and/or outside of creation and selects manifestations) or monist (the divine is manifest in all of creation).

Freedom of devotion also lends to the highly developed artistic acumen of Hindus in general. Their culture is replete with visual, literary, and musical styles that convey every colorful aspect of the divine. One revelation I experienced with this concept is that while Hinduism has its holy texts (i.e., the Vedas, Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, etc.), spiritual discourse is an ongoing development and the treatises that cover these lessons are held in the same esteem as the rishis (holy men or seers) of time immemorial.

What Would I Do Differently?

For the sake of efficiency, I decided to split each month into four categories: Rituals and practices, arts and culture, social issues, monthly reflection. While this gives a nice introduction into these different aspects of faith, they tend to limit the content I can share about what’s happening with me personally. Let’s face it, if you wanted a scholarly info dump, you could Google the subject and get it anywhere. What makes Project Conversion interesting is that I’m displacing myself for a whole year and living a “day in the life.” Sure, I posted some personal content toward the end and I’ve also kept a hand-written journal of my daily experiences. Going forward, however, I think it would be fair and more beneficial to you if I offered you a more in depth view into my time living as a Hindu, Muslim, Baha’i, etc. So that’s that.

What Am I Taking From This Into The Future?

One of the most amazing results of Project Conversion was how quickly I was able to adapt. If you would have told me two months ago that I would embrace a vegetarian lifestyle I would have asked you what you were smoking and if I could have some. But now…Understand that Hinduism sees the presence of the divine in all life and all creation. This is why the concept of non-injury is so crucial. Sure, it was tough whenever someone at a restaurant ordered a perfectly seasoned and seared New York strip, the scent of which flooded my nose and thrust me into potential blood-lust. But I resisted. I held fast. And now that I know in vivid detail how meat is transformed from terrified animal to slaughtered flesh on a plate…yeah, I’m a vegetarian now and probably for the long haul. But I won’t judge someone who eats meat. To each their own, right?

Meditation/Yoga. I’m a naturally stressed out guy. As a college student, a father, a husband, a writer, editor, and now in the midst of Project Conversion, it’s easy to see that my head could spin off at any moment. Meditation/yoga–a practice that transcends religious tradition–has become a powerful ally. I am calmer, far more patient, my passion is controlled/guided, and I see the positive in a situation far more readily than in the past. In fact, the results have been so dramatic that I haven’t used profanity(even in thought!) this whole month and even my libido is tamed. Yes, I have a lot further to go, but I like my new disposition and I credit the trained focus of meditation/yoga for that result.

Saying Goodbye

Adopting Hinduism for the month has been like jumping naked into freezing water. However, now that I’ve lived this way for almost a month, I can honestly say I’m going to miss everything. I don’t want to hang up my rudraksha mala. I want to chant the mantras in the limited Sanskrit I worked so hard to learn. I don’t want to stop visiting the temple and taking part in the classes, aarti, and prasad. I’ll miss the cool sensation of bhasma ash drying on my forehead in the tripundra stripes. The wisdom of the Upanishads has seeped into my heart and mind and though I must now move on, those poetic verses uttered so many millenia ago will echo long beyond my first month of Project Conversion. No, I haven’t presented everything there is to know about Sanatan Dharma here, but then again, that was never the goal. My hope is that you learned enough to want to learn more, to no longer get nervous around a co-worker wearing a bindi or tilak, to ask questions and let one speak for themselves before you judge them.

So here’s to everyone who helped me along the way: Hindu Bhavan Temple, Prof. Bharat Gajjar, Meeta Gajjar Parker, The Naik family, Dr. Gupta and her Sunday School students, Dr. Baktri, everyone who emailed me about the faith and the saints old and new who spoke to me through their written words…

Microsoft's Memo to its Indian Staff

This is a REAL MEMO from Microsoft HR Director in Redmond, WA to its staff of the Indian Origin. Every word here is kept intact without alteration.

MEMO TO INDIAN STAFF

In view of the large number of Indians working in the USA, UK and many other countries with White People, it has become important for Human Resources Department to issue directives to their Indian staff.

TO ALL HINDI-SPEAKING STAFF

It has been brought to our attention by several officials visiting our corporate headquarters that offensive language is commonly used by our Hindi-speaking staff. Such behavior, in addition to violating our policy, is highly unprofessional and offensive to both visitors and colleagues.

Staff will IMMEDIATELY adhere to the following rules:

1. Words like CHUTIYA, GANDU and other such expressions will not be used for emphasis, no matter how heated the discussion. You will not say CHUTIYE, AKKAL NAHI HAI KYA TEREKO when someone makes a mistake, or MADAR CHOD, BHENCHOD when a major mistake
has been made. All forms derived from the verb CHOD are inappropriate in our environment.

2. No project manager, section head or administrator, under any circumstances, will be referred to as GADHA or CHUTIYA. Lack of determination will not be referred to as KAAMCHOR SAALA and neither will persons who lack initiative be referred to as BHOSADIKAA or MADARCHOD.

3. Unusual or creative ideas from your superiors are not to be referred to as GAND FAADU, if a person is persistent, or if a task is heavy to accomplish. In a similar way, do not use GAND FATI, if a colleague is going through a difficult situation.

4. Furthermore, you must not say BHOSADE MEIN GAYA when matters become complicated. When asking someone to leave you alone, you must not say DIMAG KI MAA BHEN MAT KAR. Do not ever substitute 'May I help you?' with BOL TERI GAND KAISE MARU.

5. When things get tough, an acceptable_expression such as 'We are going through a difficult time' should be used, rather than MAA CHUDI PADI HAI or GOTI MUH MEIN HAI..

6. No salary increase shall be ever referred to as KHAIRAAT BAATI JAA RAHI HAI KYA. Under no circumstances should you call our elderly corporate partners as BUDDHA KHOOSAT.

7. Last, but not least, after reading this memo, please do not say: YE KAGAJ GAND PONCHNE KE LAAYAK BHI NAHI HAI.
We hope you will keep these directions in mind.

Sincerely,
Steve Rider
Human Resources, Director Microsoft Corporation

Mohammed, God and Satan

Mahoday,

If I may add that Qoran not only has whatever God may have told Mian Mohammed but much of its contents are as told by Satan, which Mohammed himself admitted, which was upsetting Mohammed's followers at that time and the Mullahs have always tried to hide and disclaim and expunged parts of it from the Qoran.!

Hopefully, this Nazism, in the garb of religion, meets its end just like many others with the similar philosophies, have met in the history of mankind.

Jai Shri Sitaramjiki, Jai Shri Radhakrishnjiki, Jai Veer Hanuman,

Dear Minette
I am pleased to read your article under the head, It’s not a phobia, Lady Warsi- it’s rational to fear Islam, published in The Sunday Times, last Sunday (23 January 2011).

We appreciate your courage to defy the treacherous "political correctness" and speak your mind frankly and boldly. We wish more journalists were of your kind and calibre.

The bestial crimes of ISLAM against mankind are too many to put in a small article when we need books to give details right from the time Mohammed set off from Mecca to "conquer the world".

He was preceded by some and succeeded by many of his kind whose names we know. They all met with defeat and death while Mohammed got away. It is because he was smart enough to enforce and impose whatever he proclaimed by adding the phrase, "Allah said so."

He knew that none will defy Allah and thus accept his crude code of conduct with regard to abduction, rape, murder and land grab (Jihad).

So, "in the name of Allah," any loafer, vagabond, adventurer, dimwit, philanderer, schizophrenic or disgruntled man can legally have up to four wives, divorce one who wasn't prepared to be slave or concubine, by merely saying "talaaq" (divorce) three times, beat and starve a disobedient female, pronounce the verdict to amputate foot or hand or even gouge out the eyes of a thief or rebel, kill anyone who left the suffocating mental "prison" of Islam, call everyone "KAFIR" who did not submit to Mohammed, and behead him in public, flog women in public, blow up girls's schools, invade any country for its gold, silver and women, wantonly destroy temples, synagogues and churches and even PARTITION a country on achieving demographic majority in any part of region. India had her five provinces amputated when the intolerant & separatist "Islamic gangrene" spread. Cyprus lost its Northern part and Serbia lost Kosovo for the same reason.

Shrewd Mohammed declared, "thus spoke Allah", and had a book written up, calling it KORAN. It is the compelling Code of Conduct for a "fighter-killer" like no other incendiary literature on earth.

Century after century, it has produced Jihadis, Mujahideen, Ghazis and TERRORISTS who have destroyed civilized nations by converting the inhabitants and crushing their human rights.

The modern version of a "good Muslim", never condemned by the rest, is the suicide bomber who blows him-/herself up for maximum carnage and loss of innocent life.

The massacre at the airport near Moscow, the explosion on train in Madrid, the Underground & bus bombings in London, the destruction of WTC towers in New York, the massacre of Greeks in Northern Cyprus and desecration of their churches, the genocide in West Punjab and East Bengal (Noakhali), the destruction of Temple Mount in Jerusalem, Grand Temple at the birth place of Sri Rama at Ayodhya, and Sophia Hagis, a church built over 1400 years ago in Istambul, all can be traced back directly, without any diversion, to Mohammed of Mecca himself and his Book, the Koran, as the primary source of belligerency, murder, plunder, abduction, rape and land grab.

Coming back to ENGLAND, it is absolutely beyond belief that our Government, entrusted with our security today and safety tomorrow, should let in so many Muslims and then give them all the encouragement to bring in more, convert freely and procreate at disproportionately excessive rate so that this country, too, adopts Islam as its official religion eventually.

All the senior citizens, who still remember how difficult it was to escape slavery under HITLER, are now asking, "How will we get rid of Islam and Koran, if our grandchildren are not to live in the "Islamic Republic" of England?"

For those who were born in LAHORE and DHAKA when these cities were in one country, the question has become irrelevant now.

Since Muslims everywhere regard Mohammed as their Prophet and blindly believe like unquestioning morons that Koran is the Word of Allah, we should regard Islam as global menace and the enemy of women's dignity and equality, secularism and democracy.

Please follow up the sad tale of just one young woman rendered a widow in prime of her life, condemned to live the life of grief & mourning while bringing up her children single-handed in the aftermath of widespread massacres in West Punjab, India, during 1947.

None can give a better testimonial on the character of Mohammed and the destructive propensity acquired by his followers through brainwashing and conditioning, than she.

A poetic couple having a dig at each other. Nice versus with humor.

Poems written by WIFE and HUSBAND.

WIFE:
I wrote your name on sand it got washed.
I wrote your name in air, it was blown away. Then
I wrote your name on my heart & I got Heart Attack..

HUSBAND:
God saw me hungry, he created pizza.
He saw me thirsty, he created Pepsi.
He saw me in dark, he created light.
He saw me without problems, he created YOU.

WIFE:
Twinkle twinkle little star
You should know what you are
And once you know what you are
Mental hospital is not so far.

HUSBAND:
The rain makes all things beautiful.
The grass and flowers too.
If rain makes all things beautiful
Why doesn't it rain on you?

WIFE:
Roses are red; Violets are blue
Monkeys like u should be kept in a zoo.
Don't feel so angry you will find me there too
Not in cage but laughing at you.

SABOODANA

In Tamil Nadu, in Salem area on the road from Salem to Coimbatore there
are many saboodana factories. We start getting terribly bad smell
when we are about 2 kms away from the factories.

Saboodana is made by root like sweet potato. Kerala has this root each
weighing about 6kgs. Factory owners buy these roots in bulk during
season, make it to pulp and put it in pits of about 40ft x 25ft. Pits
are in open ground and the pulp is allowed to rot for several months.
Thousands of tons of roots rot in pits. There are huge electric
bulbs throughout the night where millions of insects fall in the pits.

While pulp is rotting, water is added everyday due to which 2” long
white colour eel is automatically born like pests are born
automatically in gutter. The walls of pits are covered by millions of
eels and factory owners with the help of machine crush the pulp with
the eels which also become paste. This action is repeated many times
during 5-6 months.

The pulp is thus ready as roots and millions & millions of pests and
insects crushed and pasted together. This paste is then passed through

round mesh and made into small balls and then polished. This is saboodana.

Now I know whey many people don’t eat Saboodana treating this as
non-vegetarian.

If you find it appropriate and if you think after reading this one
cannot relish Saboodana, pass on to those whom you want to save from this tasty food.

TOLERANCE

Tolerance

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
vibha cale Mon, Jan 24, 2011 at 10:58 AM

The guy who came up with this has the potential to be the next President of the US (at least)!

Tolerance

I am truly perplexed that so many of my friends are against a mosque being built near Ground Zero.

I think it should be the goal of every American to be tolerant. The mosque should be allowed, in an effort to promote tolerance.

That is why I also propose, that two nightclubs be opened next door to the mosque thereby promoting tolerance within the mosque. We could call one of the clubs (which would be gay) "The Turban Cowboy" and the other being a topless bar "You Mecca Me Hot".

Next door should be a butcher shop that specializes in pork and adjacent to that have an open barbeque pork rib restaurant, called something like “ Iraq o’ Ribs”?

Across the street there could be a very daring lingerie store called Victoria Keeps Nothing Secret with sexy mannequins in the window modeling the goods.

Next door to the lingerie shop, there would be room for an Adult Toy Shop (Koranal Knowledge), its name in flashing neon lights, and on the other side a liquor store, maybe call it "Morehammered"?

Then the Muslims could be allowed to show their tolerance. Problem solved.

If you agree in promoting tolerance and you think this is a good plan, pass it on.

How Muslims carried Hindu Wisdom to the West, Part 1

Dear Friends,

The following article was taken from the Faith and Freedom website dated 1/22/2011. It's worth reading.

How Muslims carried Hindu Wisdom to the West, Part 1

By FFI Contributing Editor Dr Radhasyam Brahmachari

Islamic Lies:

It is now well known that Allah has given a clean chit to the Muslims around the world to tell lies, called “taqiyya” or holy deception, for the benefit of Islam or glorifying Islam. So, the President Barack Obama, while addressing a gathering at the Cairo University, on June 5, 2009, said, “As a student of history, I also know civilization’s debt to Islam. It was Islam at places like Al-Azhar that carried the light of learning through so many centuries, paving the way for Europe’s renaissance and enlightenment. It was innovation in Muslim communities…

It was innovation in Muslim communities that developed the order of algebra, our magnetic compass and tools of navigation, our mastery of pens and printing, our understanding of how disease spreads and how it can be healed. Islamic culture has given us majestic arches and soaring spires, timeless poetry and cherished music, elegant calligraphy and places of peaceful contemplation. And throughout history, Islam has demonstrated through words and deeds the possibilities of religious tolerance and racial equality.”[1]

Barack Obama speaking at Cairo Univ.

It is not difficult to understand that President Barack Hussain Obama, being a Muslim, told all these lies as mentioned above, as his duty to glorify Islam. In the above speech, President Obama has told another blatant lie to the audience that he is a Christian. This author, in his two part article “Conflict of Conscience between the Muslim Obama and the President Obama” [2] hase proven it conclusively that President Obama is a Muslim. At that time a study revealed that 20% of American citizens were convinced that, Obama is a Muslim. Today, the percentage of such people is rising sharply and the world’s large search engine, “Google” is fully convinced that Obama is a Muslim. But it is important to note that Obama said not a single word – Why that golden era of Arab science declined so sharply? Why the contribution of Islamic world in science today is almost zero? For the past thousand years, contribution to human civilization is nothing.

It should also be mentioned that, what Mr Obama so proudly highlighted as Islamic civilization, that did not evolved from Koran and the authors of that civilization were not Arabs. The authors of Islamic science, literature, astronomy, mathematics, architecture etc. were the kafirs , pagans and idolaters of India, Greece ,China. Ancient India was worlds knowledge center of higher Mathematics, Chemistry ,Physics ,Astrology, philosophy ,medicine and surgery etc. Seekers of knowledge used to come to India from all places of the world. It was common to see students from China, South East Asia, Central Asia, Iran, Middle East in these centers of learning.

For example, most of the pioneers of Arabic science were not ethnic Arabs. Abū al Wafā Būzjānī, al Farghānī, al Fazārī, al-Khwārizmī were Persians, al Bīrūnī was from Uzbekistan, Al Farabi was most probably an Afghan, Al Kindi, Hunayn ibn Ishaq were from Iraq, al Battānī was a Muslim astronomer, astrologer and mathematician and he was born in Harran near Urfa, which is now in Turkey Only a few like al Farahidi, Ibn Ishaq etc were ethnically Arabs.

Advancement in science, arts, literature or any branch of knowledge needs freedom of speech and freedom of thought. But freedom of thought is a taboo in Islam – each and every Muslim has to think, write and speak according to the guideline ordained by Allah in the Koran or in the traditions of the Prophet Muhammad called Hadith. If anyone says something or writes something violating the guidelines of Allah, he would instantly be declared an apostate that calls for a punishment of death. It is, therefore, evident that in such a suffocating atmosphere, science cannot flourish. That is the reason, the Islamic science died a very premature death.
This is also the reason why the creativity of Islamic world today is almost zero.

To make science free from religious dogma and orthodoxy an Islamic school called Muatazilah flourished in the cities of Basra and Baghdad, both in present-day Iraq, during the 8th–10th centuries. It is still adopted by some Muslim scholars and intellectuals today. The adherents of the school called Mutazili, were at severe confrontation with other Sunni Muslim scholars. And ultimately, the Mutazilis had to surrender to orthodox religious schools and their unscientific dogmas.

Present state of Islamic science:

A few examples may be narrated to highlight the poor performance in the creative arena of the Muslim World today. In the first week of January, 2006, the American Federation of Muslims of Indian-origin (AFMI) and the Talent Promotion Trust, a Bangalore based NGO, have jointly held a panel discussion on “Emerging India and Development of Muslims” in Bangalore. Mr. Farooque Shaikh, a renowned film star, while addressing the gathering of Muslims intellectuals on 7th January, said, “Muslims need to introspect as to why their situation has hit the present nadir and should give up blaming others for their dismal educational standard”. He also said that after analyzing the Muslim community he has come to the conclusion that … …religious discrimination, gender bias and other issues are plaguing them”. (Islamic Voice: February, 2006).

While speaking to the occasion on the new role the Muslims of this country have to play in the new emerging India, Mr. Sadaqath Peeran, chairman of the Al-Ameen Education Society, said, “If Muslims had to be equal partners in emerging India, they had to break the shackle of poverty and illiteracy. English should br introduced in all Urdu schools, if we want to be equipped to face the challenges of this competitive world”. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Maqbool Ahmed Siraj, secretary of the Talent Promotion Trust said, “The present situation of the Muslims is very bleak all over the world. There is no encouragement and incentive for innovation and creativity in the Muslim world”. Mr. Siraj lamented over the low level of economic activity of the Muslim world and said, “The entire gross domestic product of the Muslim world is just half of what France produces every year”. (Islamic Voice, Feb 2006).

Nearly 12 years ago, in January 1998, Mr. Wasim Sajjad, President of the Islamabad based Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (CONSTECH), while addressing a press conference, said that the countries belonging to the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC), considering their share of world population, should have 4 million scientists and engineers, but in reality they had only 200,000, merely 5 per cent of the expected figure. He also pointed out that Muslims account for 1.3 billion or nearly 32 per cent of the world population, but scientific research papers they publish is negligible, below one per cent of world’s total. And at the same time, they have little contribution in the high tech-areas like computer software and information technology etc. Mr. Sajjad, while lamenting over the dearth of creativity and poor performance of the Muslims in modern science and technology, complained that, considering the share of world population, Islamic countries should spend $ 4.7 million a year for higher education and research, but in reality they were spending as low as $ 130,000 per Year.

The severe dearth of creativity in the Muslim world has been revealed in another study. In India and elsewhere in the world, Muslims are, as a community, most back-ward and top the list in adult illiteracy, infant mortality and poverty. Mr. Hisamul Islam Siddiqi, the president of the Indian Islamic Council, a Delhi based NGO. In February, 2000, while he was addressing a seminar on ‘Islamic Heritage: Indian Dimension’ in Delhi, said that nearly 36 per cent of Indian Muslims were urban and almost all of them were slum-dwellers, living below the poverty line. The Rahat Welfare Trust is a Mumbai based NGO and to describe the widespread darkness of ignorance and illiteracy among the Muslims, says, “This darkness makes a mockery of our freedom. … It is only the light of education that can banish this darkness created by ignorance”. Islamic Voice is a Bangalore-based monthly. Its editor Mr. Sadatulla Khan, while lamenting over the lack of creativity and intellectual stagnation in the Muslim community, in his editorial ‘Intellectual Stagnation and Its Remedy’, writes, “Both individually and collectively, Muslims are victims of intellectual stagnation for the past several centuries and are painfully lagging behind in the race of civilization.” (To read more, see The World Community of Muslims: Shackled People Enslaved by the Koran by this author.)

Islam is a doctrine of destruction:

As a doctrine, Islam teaches destruction, not creation. After conquering Egypt they burnt and destroyed the great library of Alexandria. Pre-Islamic India boasted of the world’s oldest university at Taxila (4th to 5th B.C.). There were other world famous seats of learning at Nalanda , Odantipur, Vidisha etc. All these universities were destroyed and libraries burnt by the barbaric Muslim invaders. Before Islamic invasion, both atheists and theists – Hindus, Buddhists, Jains scientists and philosophers worked together and freely expressed their thoughts and views without fear of persecution in the name of religion. The result, Indian civilization turned into a paradise for scholars scientists. But the entire set up was ravaged by the barbaric Muslim invaders.

Such widespread destruction and, at the same time, large-scale slaughter of the Hindus for refusing to accept Islam, completely shattered social fabric of the Hindus which led to a sharp decline of the Hindu science. “From 1000A.D. Indian- subcontinent was shattered by frequent Islamic invasion with more than 80 millions were put to swords for their refusal to convert to Islam. The Islamic rule saw the destruction of the timeless proud legacy of learning and free thinking in this land of the ancients”, says a Youtube video. [3].

In India, the barbaric Muslim invaders also destroyed thousands of Hindu temples and raised mosques with the raw material obtained from the destruction of temples. In many places, they converted the temples directly into mosques. A Muslim chronicler of that time said, “It is easy to convert a temple into a mosque by following three simple steps. Firstly, remove and destroy the idol. Secondly, make pulpit for the imam and thirdly raise a minaret.” The conquest of Iran, Iraq and India by the Muslims proves that a rich civilization could be conquered by the brutes, as Rome was destroyed by the Vandals. This mass scale destruction and massacring the non-Muslim was not confined to India, or Iran, or Iraq. Such rampant destruction and large scale homicide went on throughout the vast area the Muslims conquered and established the Muslim or Arab Empire.

Islamic or Arab conquests:

Conquering non-Arab countries and enslaving non-Arab peoples began after the death of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. Muhammad, through his barbaric creed called Islam, could establish a new unified polity in the Arabian Peninsula which under the subsequent Caliphs, particularly under the Umayyad Caliphates, saw a century of rapid expansion of Muslim power that stretched from the borders of China and India (Present day Pakistan), across Central Asia, the Middle East, North Africa, Sicily, and the Iberian Peninsula, to the Pyrenees.
.

Muslim Empire during Umayyad Caliphates

Umayyad Caliphate at its greatest extent.

Due to this Muslim conquest, the Sassanid Empire collapsed and brought about a great territorial loss for the Byzantine Empire. Many historians believe that the Sassanid Persian and Byzantine Roman empires were militarily and economically exhausted at that time from decades of fighting against one another. Later on, wars between the Byzantine Empire and the Umayyad caliphates resulted in the conquest of the Greater Syria, Egypt, North Africa and Armenia by the Muslims.. The estimates for the size of the Islamic Caliphate suggest it was more than thirteen million square kilometers (five million square miles), making it larger than all current states except the Russian Federation.

The conquest of Persia and Iraq, the two seats of ancient civilization and learning and the shift of the Caliphate from Mecca to Baghdad, under the Abbasid caliphs, is a milestone of Arab or Islamic science. “Starting around 750 AD, science flourished under the Abbasid caliphs of Baghdad, gradually spreading its influence as far west as Spain and eastwards into Central Asia, over a period of more than 600 years.

By drawing on a variety of texts – Greek, Indian and Persian – and translating them into Arabic, the early scholars accumulated the greatest body of scientific knowledge in the world … and built on it through their own discoveries. Often, there was a practical Islamic relevance. Astronomy could be used to work out the direction of prayer. Mathematics was needed for dividing property according to the Islamic law of inheritance. Although science flourished under Arab-Islamic patronage, by no means all the important figures in science were Muslims, or even Arabs. The common factor, however, was the Arabic language, which for a time became the international language of science. It was only later, in the 12th and 13th centuries, when the Arabic works began to be translated into Latin, that such knowledge passed to the west”, says an author.” [4]
In fact, the Islamic state was formed in 622 C.E., when the Prophet moved from Mecca to Medina but within a century after his death (632 C.E.) a large part of the planet, from southern Europe throughout North Africa to Central Asia and on to India, was controlled by and/or influenced by the new Arabic-Muslim Empire. In 711 C.E., Arab Muslims invaded southern Spain and a center of flourishing civilization (al-Andalus) was created and another center emerged in Baghdad from the Abbasids, who ruled part of the Islamic world during a historic period later characterized as the “Golden Age” (750 to 1258 C.E.)..

Though the Islamic scholars claim many discoveries as Arabic origin, most of the achievements of the Islamic-Arabic Golden Age were based on previous initiatives taken by the ancient Egyptians, Hebrews, Persians, Greeks, Romans and the Hindus. The Abbasid Caliphate built a big library, commonly known as the House of Wisdom, in Baghdad where scholars used to meet to exchange their views. Translators were invited to Baghdad, to translate Greek, Latin and Sanskrit texts. The result of their work was impressive progress in all sectors of science. The rulers of Islamic Spain also engaged a team of translators and recruited scholars who gathered knowledge (a few of them made some minor contributions) in science, medicine, technology, philosophy, and art.[5]

In this way, the Muslim (or Arab) empire acted as a bridge for taking wisdom of the East to the West. The most important Hindu discovery that Arabs carried to the West was the Hindu Numerals or writing numbers infinitely large or infinitesimally small, using nine symbols, one zero and a decimal point. Due to their ignorance, the Europeans took it to be an Arabic invention and called it the Arabic numerals. But now it has been conclusively established that the real inventors were the Hindus of India. Even though, some authors still mention it as the Indo-Arabic numerals. We hope to discuss this matter in the second part of this article.

Can current travel through Flash light of camera to your body? yes it is 100% true

Dear friends,
With deep pains (and tears in my eyes), i am sorry to inform You that
yesterday morning, one of my dear friend's elder son (Mr. Aditya Suresh
Joshi), age 19, studying in 1st year of engineering, died in Keshvani
Hospital, Mumbai. He was admitted in Keshavani Hospital as burned
patient.

Reason

4 days back this boy had gone to Amravati (One of the district place
located in State of Maharashtra ) on study tour. After their study was
over, he, his classmates & his teachers, all of them were standing
on "Badnera" railway station to catch the train. "Badnera" is the name
of the railway station for

" Amravati " city.As soon as they arrived on Badnera Railway station,
many of them started taking pictures of their friends using "Mobile
Phones" and/or "Digital Camera". One of them complained that, in his
camera, he was not able to capture more number of friends in one frame.
He was not able to catch the angle. Another boy suggested that let's
climb on train boogie and take picture so that all of them can be
accommodated in single frame.

At that there was one goods wagon (all of them were oil tankers) train resting between 2 main railway lines.

Kumar Aditya climbed up oil boogie. Above his head, 40,000 volts
electrical line was passing through. As soon as he clicked the digital
camera? 40,000 volt current passed through the camera flash light to his
camera and then from his camera to his fingers and then from his
fingers to his body. All this happened within fraction of minutes. Next
moment he was thrown from the top. His body was half burned

on the spot.

At that time, his father (my friend) was traveling in Bangkok . His many
friends in Pune came to know about this via mobile SMS. They instantly
arranged air ambulance in Amravati and his burned body was brought to
Keshavani Hospital , Mumbai. i was told that this is the best hospital
in Mumbai. For 1 and 1/2 day or so he was talking to his relatives. When
he was admitted to the hospital, at that time only, doctor informed his
relatives that don't keep great hopes. Because of lot of complex issues
in half burned body? He died yesterday morning.

Now how many of
us are aware about this technological threats & dangers? Honestly,
Kumar Aditya and his father was not aware. His family was not aware. Our
entire friend circle of more than 12,000, we were not aware. Now should
we call ourselves as fully educated and fully
knowledgeable people? Please Think of it.

Please avoid mobile phones on petrol outlets.

Please avoid talking on mobile phones while driving. I also know many of my friends
who do not bother about this good suggestion and each one of them have
opted for "Chalta Hai Yaar Attitude".

Please avoid talking on mobile phones while they are in charging mode.

Please avoid charging mobile phones near Your bed and/or near wooden furniture. Avoid
mobile phones near high voltage electrical lines like railway stations
and use flash lights.

My friend, his family members and we all friends learned our lesson with loss of young
life. Now Would You like to empower Your friends about this accident so
as to avoid future accidents? We can save human life by empowering all
the IT users who are in Your network?

What can we do ?

Please, please.....I request you to send this very important life threatening
information to your loved ones.....
"Print this mail only if absolutely necessary.
Be green, read from the screen!"

Barkha Dutt has extended her prejudice towards Congress in print, the
way she does on NDTV. Those who watch her shows in the channel would
have observed her distinct bias towards Congress leaders in any panel
discussion or talk show (Jayanthi Natarajan, Manish Tiwary, etc.). So,
this article too is as colored as her shows. Pity, someone who started
off as a promising journalist has transformed herself into this
position. The Radia tapes too showed her being most vocal, proactive
and eager to act power-broker and go-between for Congress leaders.
Maybe it is her turn to reciprocate, after having been awarded Padma
Shri in 2008 by a grateful Congress for her 'services'.

Fwd: A great story

A Great story

This is a true story that had happened in 1892 at Stanford University.

A young, 18-year-old student was struggling to pay his fees. He was
an orphan, and not knowing where to turn to - for money, he came up with
an idea. He with a friend decided to host a musical concert on the Campus to raise money for their education.

They approached the Great Pianist 'Ignacy J. Paderewski' His manager demanded a guaranteed fee of $2000 for the piano recital. A deal was struck. And the boys began to work to make the concert a success.

The big day arrived. "Paderewski" performed at Stanford. But unfortunately, they had not managed to sell enough tickets. The total collection was only $1600. Disappointed, they went to Paderewski and explained their plight. They gave him the entire $1600, plus a cheque for the balance $400. They promised to honour the cheque soonest possible.

"No." said Paderewski. "This is not acceptable." He tore up the cheque, returned the $1600 and told the two boys "Here's the $1600. Please deduct whatever expenses you have incurred. Keep the money you need for your fees. And just give me whatever is left" The boys were surprised, and thanked him profusely.

It was a small act of kindness. But it clearly marked out Paderewski as a great human being. Why should he help two people he did not even know? We all come across situations like these in our lives. And most of us only think "If I help them, what would happen to me?" The truly great people think, "If I don't help them, what will happen to them?" They don't do it expecting something in return. They do it because they feel it's the right thing to do.

Paderewski later went on to become the Prime Minister of Poland. He was a great leader, but unfortunately when the World War began, Poland was ravaged. There were over 1.5 million people starving in his country, and no money to feed them. Paderewski did not know where to turn for help. He reached out to the US Food and Relief Administration for help.

The head there was a man called "Herbert Hoover" - who later went on to become the US President. "Hoover" agreed to help and quickly shipped
tons of food grains to feed the starving Polish people. A calamity was averted.

"Paderewski" was relieved. He decided to go across to meet "Hoover" and
personally thank him. When "Paderewski" began to thank "Hoover" for his
noble gesture, "Hoover" quickly interjected and said, "You shouldn't be
thanking me Mr. Prime Minister. You may not remember this, but several
years ago, you helped two young students go through College in the US.
I was one of them."

The world is a wonderful place. What goes around usually comes around. A Small World This!!

TIME TO LAUGH

Hey., Bob, remember when you and I went fishing up north nine months ago and the car broke down in that thunderstorm and we wound up spending the night at that farm owned by that gorgeous widow? Remember?
Yeah.
You remember the gorgeous widow?
Yeah.
And she had that big, fabulous house and we slept in the guest room, and the next morning we got in the car and headed north and went fishing -- you remember?
Yeah.
Well, nine months later I got a letter from her attorney.
Oh.
Did you happen to get up in the middle of the night and go pay her a visit?
I did yes.
And did you happen to use my name instead of telling her your name?
I'm sorry, I did why do you ask?
She just died and left me everything.

Moral of the story: When you cheat someone, it may bounce back on you!

The history of the Abhirs, Ahirs and yadavas of Ancient Bharat Varse_1
In According to the Hindu mythology, The Yadvas are descendants of Yadu who was eldest son of Yayati and was banished from ruling by his father because he refused to fulfil the wishes of his father and became a rebel. Yadu and his descendants started ruling in outskirts of the mainland, viz small islands. It is assumed the reference in scriptures of Jambudwepa is in memory of these islands. Later on Yadus entered the mainland overthrowing many Puru rulers.Presently they are known by my names.Gope means mystique stemming from Shiva (Also called Gopeshwar or lord of mysticism) and emulated in Bhagavad Gita, Yaduvanshis are descendants of the ancient Yadavs. Abhir (also known as Abhira or Ahira) means fearless and have got most ancient historical references dating back to Abhira kingdom of saraswati valley, they spoke abhiri(ancient sanskrit) till buddhist period .Some scholars believe Abhira identity was used by Yadava residents of Holy Land (like Saraswati Valley where they lived fearlessly)and separate identity emerged because of their gradual alienation because of many reasons some of which are saraswati going down the earth and fall of Dwarka[1].Some scholars see connection to jews of these abhira through biblical city ophir.Yadavas were possesors of great mysical knowledge is confirmed in Bhagwad Gita itself which says-same knowledge was given to Manu(first man on earth),surya and ichavaku(ancestor of lord Rama) at very ancient time.It is believed Abhira were the link between eastern and western religions.

Yadvas are described as the descendants of Yadu, the eldest son of King Yayati, whose father removed him from the succession because he rebelled against Yayati's wishes. Yadu and his descendants started ruling in places that are assumed to be referred to in the Hindu scriptures as Jambudvipa. Later on, the Yadus overthrew many Puru rulers. According to the Bhagvad Gita, Yadavas were possessors of great mystical knowledge, as far back as Manu, and much knowledge was also given to Surya and Ikshavaku in far ancient times. According to Dharmic mythology, Jarasandh, Kamsa's father-in-law, and king of Magadha attacked Yadavas to avenge the killing of Kansa. Yadavas had to shift their capital from Mathura (central Aryavart) to Dwaraka (on the western coast of Aryavart) on the Sindhu.

Abhira, which is considered to be a subgroup of Yadava caste today, is assumed to be different from ancient Yadavas. Linkage is obscure and views vary from scholar to scholar. The term was used for cowherds initially but has been extended to include Yaduvanshi and Nandavanshis too by its corrupt version Ahir. Abhira means "fearless" and appear in most ancient historical references dating back to the Abhira kingdom of the Saraswati Valley, who spoke Abhiri until the Buddhist period.[2] Analysis of Hindu scriptural references of the Abhira kingdoms has led some scholars to conclude that it was merely a term used for Holy Yadava Kingdoms. In Bhagavatam, the Gupta dynasty has been alled Abhir
The Kshatriya religion was propounded by Krishna and no reference is found before him. We only find Rajnya as the term alternatively used for it (Bhagwad Gita is emaciated form of hidden knowledge-Gope-which has its root in Shiva). Later on many Kshatriyas were made based on the philosophy of this religion as revealed in Bhagavad Gita. Prominent members among the ancient Yadavas are:

* Vasudeva father of Krishna
* Krishna
* Kunti sister of Vasudeva and mother of Pandavas and
Karna
* Kamsa a tyrannical king of Mathura, who was killed by
Krishna
* Ugrasen father of Kamsa

The legend further states that Jarasandh, Kamsa’s father-in-law, and king of Magadha attacked Yadavas to avenge the killing of Kamsa. Yadavas had to shift their capital from Mathura (central India) to Dwaraka (on the western coast of India) on the Arabian Sea. Yaduvanshis are among the five most ancient Aryan groups of Bharata. They mostly follow Hindu religion, and are located in different parts of India, Nepal, and Bangladesh.

Major Yadav clans currently include

* Krishnauth (claiming direct lineage from Krishna)
* Manjrauth
* Gaur (also called Goriya, and mentioned in the
Mahabharatha) derived from sanskrit "guh" meaning
mystical and "ur" meaning home or abode (one who is the

the major groups called castes many bear names derived from the principal professions they follow or the crafts they practice, for example, the cattle-breeding group takes the significant name of Gauli, derived from a Sanskrit word for cow. The names of the shepherd castes seem to be derived from words meaning sheep. Such is at least the case with Gadaria from 'gadar', on old Hindi word for sheep. Many others of these major groups called castes bear merely tribal or ethic names. Such are for example: Arora, Gujar, Lohana, Bhatia, Mina, Bhil, Dom, Oraon, Munda, Santal, Koch, Ahir, Mahar, Nayar, Maratha, Gond, Khond, etc.

Some early inscriptions, dated 1078 and 1090, have implied that the Hoysalas of Mysore were also the descendants of the original Yadava clan, by referring to the Yadava vamsa (clan) as Hoysala vamsa. But there are no records directly linking the Hoysalas to the Yadavas of North India. Calling it 'poetic fancy', William Coelho, author of Hoysala Vamsa, 1950, argues that there is no evidence of even a tradition that traces back their lineage to one of northern origin. S.U. Kamath argues that it was a common practice in royal families of medieval South India to build puranic genealogies. However, J.N. Singh Yadav, a famous historian, gives the following account in his 'YADAVAS THROUGH THE AGES', " The Hoysalas ruled illustriously for over three centuries and have left in the country imperishable monuments of art and culture. They were family of kings who ruled over practically the whole of the kannada country at the height of their power. They scheduled the hill tribes known as Malepas in the Western Ghats and they assumed the title 'Maleparoleganda'. The account of their origin can be traced in some of their inscriptions. They claimed Sosevura (Sasakapura of sanskrit writers) as their birthplace. This place has been identified with Angadi of Mudigere Taluk in chikamanglura district. It has been mentioned as the seen of the incident between Sala and the tiger. When Sala,' an ornament of the Yaduvamsa' (Yaduvamsojvala tilakan) was worshiping the goddess Vasantike of Sasakapura, a tiger came from the forest. The holiman Sodutta, who was there gave him his fan saying 'Poysala(Strike, Sala). Sala killed the tiger. From that time the name of Poysala become the designation of the Yadava kings. Almost the same account, though differing in certain details, is found in many of their inscriptions. According to annother version, when Sala was hunting along the slopes of the Sahya mountains (or the Western Ghats), he was astonished to see a hare (SKt. Sasa) pursuing a tiger, while he was walking alone saying to himself, 'This is heroic soil', a holy muni near by, being afraid of the tiger, called out 'Poy-Sala' and before it could proceed the length of a span Sala slew it with his sword. It is after this incident that the place came to be known as Sasakapura. The founder of the Wodeyar dynasty, Vijaya, also claimed descent from the Yadu and took on the name Yadu-Raya.

"The Pandya kingdom generally associated with the Pandus of the Mahabarata covered the districts of Madura and Tinnivelly as well as certain portions of south Travancore."

"It was noted that the pastoral people(Ayar) of the mullai land in Kongu formed the major component of the Vellalar community of the medieval period. It is the Vellalar of Kongu were nothing but the pastoral people of Kongu, ofcourse, with some additions. However, We come across references to Idaiyar of kiranur, alias Kolumam Konda Cholanallur, Kon from the same place, and Yatavar in two epigraphs from Chevur. Further, there are also references to Tiruvayappadi nattar, which indicate the supra-local activities of the herdsmen discussed in chapter. The presence of the herdsmen, with the titles as found in the macro region, may be explained as survivors of the pastoral people of the pre-chola period who were reluctant to integrate themselves in the new setup or new additions.

Yadav ( not to be misconstrued with Ahirs) is the Rajput clan directly claiming descent from Yadu in the great epic Mahabharat. Lord Krishna was born in Yadu tribe. Ahirs ( a cow herding cast in Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajsthan of India used to rever the lord Krishna, a born Kshatriya. The Ahirs believe that their ancestors walked together with Lord Krishna. Though most Ahirs now use Rajput name of Yadav clan, they are not related in any way to Rajput clans of Yadu/ Jadon Rajputs of Karauli, Dholpur etc in Rasjsthan, UP, Jadeja Rajputs of Gujrat and Bhati Rajputs of Jaisalmer. No matrimonial alliances of Yaduvanshi Rajputs are held with so called Ahir, cow herding cast. As per annals of the earstwhile rulers, Yaduvanshh Rajputs are Chandravansi. History works of Smith and James Tod can be relied in this regard. Moreover, in the records of British empire, which is the most reliable record, Ahirs are altogerhter different lots. As per the most authentic 1931 Census condcuted by the British Indian Governement in India, which was the only census conducted on the basis of castes prevalent in India at that time, Ahirs with so many gotras were different from the Yaduvanshis. The fact that Lord Krishna was born to Yadu kshtriyas is borne out in the Mahabharat according to which HE was the son of Vasudeva and Devaki and for fear of being killed by Kamsa of Mathura, Vasudeva had taken him to Nanda Baba and Yasoda who belonged to Ahir caste, a cow herding caste. These so called Ahirs became his followers. Only Since last 30 years, suddenly, the politicians from Ahir caste started using surname " Yadav". As per Rig veda and Various Purans and many historical works available in India, Yaduvanshi and Chandravanshi are Yadus( Jadon found in western UP, Jadeja of Gujrat, Bhatis of Rajsthan, jharejas, Banaphars of Mahobas, Dabi ( Rajsthan) Kharbad Rajput of Udaipur; Khagar of Atri Gotra found in districts of jhansi, Hamirpur, Jalon of UP, Hoysal of Dwar samudra whose capital was Belapur, , Sighel Rajput( Kashyap gotriya) found in Azamgarh district of UP and Chhapra, Bhagalpur, Mujjafarpur district of Bihar are some of the Yaduvanshi Rajputs and are recongnised as such by all the Rajput castes/clans in India.Yaduvanshi Rajputs in UP have Thikans in Aligarh,Awagarh of Etah UP, Somna,Hasnagarh, Kole ( Aligarh), Secunderabad, Shamasabad, Ghiror and mustafabad in Mainpuri. Raja Balwant Singh of Awagarh, a Jadon Rajput, set up Raja Balawant Singh College in Agra and helped Guru Rabindra Nath Tagore in setting up Shantinketkan University. Dullipsingh of Jamnagar after whom is named Dulip trophy in Cricket, Ranjitsingh after whom is named Ranjit trophy in Crciket are Yaduvansi Rajputs of Jadeja/ Jadon clan of Rajputs and are classified as one of 36 clans of Rajputs in the history and in his work by James Tod also. Chandrchud singh of Aligarh who is hero in Indian cinema is Jadon Rajput. These Yaduvansi Rajput clans do not marry the Ahirs! Yayati's first wife Devayani bore a son named Durvasu ( or Rigvedic Turvasus tribe. The descendents of Durvasu are called Durvasu Rajputs and Chandravansi. Yayati's second wife Sharmishta gave birth to eldest son named Drahayu. The Descendents of his are called Drahayu Rajputs who ruled in Bengal, Assam and Tripura and still found there. Anu Rajputs who are descendents of Anu, second son of Sharmistha, second wife of Yayati, set up Ushinar shivi, Kakaya pradesh etc. As per annals and governement records of British period, Ahirs are shown as differetn caste and in no way connected with the Yaduvanshi Rajputs!

Yadavas are the single largest community in India, estimated to constitute more than 19% of the Indian population. In terms of sheer numbers, this translates to 200 million people, prompting some people to state that Yadavas are not merely a community but a "nation" in themselves. Through numerous political parties, such as the Samajwadi Party, Rashtriya Janata Dal, Janata Dal (United), Janata Dal (Secular) and Tamil Makkal Desam (Tamil Nadu), this caste has considerable political influence, especially in the governments of India's most populous states, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Madhya Pradesh.

Yadavs, though being Kshatriyas, in certain parts of India are classified by the respective governments as Other Backward Classes, or OBCs. This classification stems from their prevailing general economic and educational condition. The Yadavas are linked to Krishna and several ruling families, such as the ancient kings of Prayag, the Yadavas of Devagiri, the Nandas, the Wodeyars of Mysore and more recently that of Rao Tularam of Haryana, one of the leading figures of the First War of Independence (1857) in India.

Yadavs are the purest form of all aryan blood anywhere in the world, if you look into historical point of view alone there are various indicators that yadavs are the only arya clan that has refrence in pre-vedic rig vedic period or post indus valley that is abt. 2500 BC,they along with the bharata clan(i.e various kings mentioned in epic mahabharat) were two of most powerful tribes or clans of aryans most of the stories are mythological the scale of the war as depicted as depicted in the epic was highly romanticized but excavations have confirmed that were skirmishes in large number at different places right at the time when aryans were trying to settle the plains of indus and ganga, while the bharta tribe mixed with the natives, dravidian, tribal groups, and the pre-aryan people i.e the people of harrapan and indus valley culture and they formed a new nation. BHARAT(official name of india in constitution) i.e. INDIA.

most of the people in india today belong to mixed lineage of ancient bharat tribe and the natives of pre-aryan india. brahmans and baniyas(vaishyas). are the cross between bharats and the natives. shudras were pure blooded natives or tribals, so brahmans, baniyas(vaishya), and shudra were of natives tribal lineage this shows in their practising of some of the pre aryan gods like shiva.

yadavs were the only known khshatriyas(i.e warriors) in early vedic times, only there name is mentioned in all the scriptures found around 3rd millenium B.C. none of the rajput clan has mentions in aryan text not even at times of alexander, neither at chandra(candra) gupta, nor at asoka, kanishka, guptas, samudragupta, harsha, nowhere they have their names mentioned one times so they cant be the ancient noble fearless mighty warriors 'khshatriyas' it can only be "ahir" or "aheer" or "abhir" meaning fearing the none, or nothing can make them feel uneasy, or the one who never stress abt. anything.

rajputs got mentioned in history only in 1st millenium BC so its unfair to say yadavs are rajput, rajputs descended from huns of asia very late. jus before rise of islam.

jatt, gujjars, rao, chaudhary ,phatans both hindu and muslims evolved out of yadavs family as most have this millitary inclinations and closely related to warfare activities always since middle ages jus after coming of islam. thes are basically yadav tribes as they have also been proved to be having pure blood aryan descendency by DNA testing of castes of south asia. which got influenced in the moghul muslim period.

Afhganistan and NWFP and present day punjab in pakistan has seen yadav king porus (puru) who stunned alexander with his bravery as when he was captured he was asked by alexander that how should be he treated he said treat me like a soldier.

for thousand years yadav groups ruled most of the NWFP(pakistan), Afghanistan, central asia, khazakhstan, uzbekstan, kirghizstan, tadhzikstan, even some part of tibet china and nepal. kanishka was said to be of mongloian - yadav descendancy

Most of the yadavs today belong to this ancinet warrior aryan caste unlike the bharats, most yadavs descended from one common group of warrior clan abt. 3rd millenium B.C.

they spread to most of the country using different last names all of them are member of one common yadav aryan family.

Allahabad iron pillar inscription of Samudragupta (fourth century A.D) mentions the Abhiras as one of the tribal states of west and south west India, who paid homage to the emperor. A fourth century (A.D) inscription found in Nashik speaks of an Abhira king, and there is proof that in the middle of the fourth century the Abhiras were settled in eastern Rajputana and Malwa. Similarly, when the Kathis arrived in Gujarat in the eighth century, they found the greater part of the country in the possession of the Ahirs. The Mirzapur district of the United Provinces has a tract known as Ahraura, named after the Ahir, and near Jhansi, another piece of country was called Ahirwar. The Ahirs were also kings of Nepal at the beginning of the Christian era. Khandesh and the Tapti valley were other regions where they were kings.

This indicates that the Abhiras, who rose to political prominence in the second century B.C., had a chequered political career until the fourtheenth century A.D when their importance was over-shadowed by the Mughals, but even during the Mughal period the Ahir and Golla rajahs were a power to be reckoned with. The Gavlis rose to political power in Deogarh, on the Chhindwara Plateau in the central provinces. The Saugar traditions traced down the Gavli supremacy to a much later date, as the tracts of Etawa and Khurai are held to have been governed by the chieftains till the close of the seventeenth century.

Although the Abhiras constituted a distinct ethnic group, they spoke diverse regional dialects. The language of the Ahirs was known as Ahirani in Khandesh, resembling Marathi. While the Ahirs of Kathiawad and Kachh have a dialect which resembles Gujarathi. Abhira bhasha is in fact considered to be Apabhransha. In the ninth century B.C., it had become the language of the people, and was spoken from Saurashtra to Magadh, and Shastri proves that poetry was composed in the language around the sixth century B.C. Suryavamsi mentions the following two dialects in addition to the ones above--Gaddi, which is currently the dialect spoken in Gadderan, on the outskirts of the Chamba and Kangra hills, and Gandi, spoken in some parts of Madhya Pradesh. Abhiri as a dialect has been recorded by Sanskrit poets such as Bharata and Dandin. Yadav , notes that the dialect the people of Ahirwal in Haryana speak, has a resemblance to Rajasthani, and Grierson, considers Ahirwati a branch of eastern Rajasthani and western Hindi.

Legends of the cowherd Krishna and his dances with cowherdesses are mentioned in the Sangam classics. The term Ayarpati (cowherd settlement) is found in Cilappatikaram. It is argued that the term Ayar has been used for the Abhiras in ancient Tamil literature, derives Abhira from the Tamil word Ayir which also means cow. He equates the Ayars with Abhiras, and Suryavamsi treats this as evidence of migration of the Abhiras to the south in the first century A.D.

Thus, linguistic evidence is used to support the argument that the Abhiras spread to different parts of India, and that they retained different but related cultural traditions. The most common denominator, as was pointed out earlier, was a descent from the Yadu dynasty and their association with cattle.

Religious Seats of Yadavas

Besides chiefdoms and jagirs, the Yadavas had peethams (seats) granted to them by virtue of their religious powers. For instance, there were fourteen seats (peethams) among the Yadavas of Warangal according to a sanad granted in 1425 (Shaka Samvat), by Sree Pratapa Rudra, Maharaja of Warangal, to sree Kondiah Guru, as the head of the fourteen seats. Subsequently when Bhagyanagar was founded by Sultan Abdulla of Kutub Shahi in A.D. 1560 the rights of the yadavas were acknowledged and recognized, and the name Golkonda was substituted for Manugal.

According to the charter awarded by the Sultan Abdulla of Kutub Shahi in 1071 Hijri, Kondiah built the fort for the Sultan by using his charisma in resolving the mystery of the site, and also discovered for him gold coins buried underground. In return, the Sultan gave him the Charter conferring upon Kondiah the rights and privileges due to the head of the fourteen seats, and of twelve classes of Gollas and two classes of shepherds (Kuruba Gollas). Kondiah, although a follower of Basaveshwara (Lingayat), was the head of the Yadava Peethams. Perhaps the Gollas at this time were under the influence of Veerasaivism, although they were incorporated into the Yadava category.
